Glowing skin is definitely on trend for fall 2014. This means using a highlighter in the appropriate places of your face, like above your cheek bones, down the bridge of your nose, and above your cupids bow.
What this doesn’t mean is to make your entire face shimmer equally as bright as the lights on your Christmas tree.
You also want to use foundation that is light in texture, like a tinted moisturizer or an HD foundation. Basically, you want to avoid anything that says matte. With that said, if you have oily skin, using a matte foundation might be the perfect balance for creating fresh glowing skin.
Alright, let’s get ourselves some glowing skin for fall. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to leave me a comment below.
1} Place your foundation on your face and blend it out with a beauty blender for the most natural look.
2} Apply your concealer under your eyes to brighten them up and blend it with your beauty blender as well.
3} Now just add either a cream blush or a powder blush that has some shimmer to it using a makeup brush that is best suited for creams.
4} Apply some HD powder that is light reflecting. This will hold your cream blush on longer and makeup your face more dewy and fresh.
Products Used
1} Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation is one of the best foundations for glowing skin. It is easy to apply, covers well without being overwhelming on your skin, and makes it absolutely flawless. This is one of my favorite foundations for every day or special occasions. It’s expensive, but one tube lasts me for six months or more.
2} Jouer Cosmetics Age Repairing Brightener is one of the best brightening concealers for under the eye. It’s light weight, creamy, and covers well. It’s a must have in my makeup bag and makeup kit. You need one. Just sayin.
3} Owning an original Beauty Blender as a makeup tool for creating flawless and glowing skin is an essential. I would suggest having one if you want to have professional looking makeup every day.
4} Face Stockholm creme blush is one of my favorite blushes for creating glowing skin. Also, a little goes a very long way for creating perfect looking, rosy-cheeks.
5} Koh Gen Do Natural Lighting Powder is a go to powder for day-to-day use or for using on set for a photo-shoot. I especially love using it to create skin that glows and stays put for hours. It is light reflecting, so it makes your skin look absolutely flawless.

I need to check out the Jouer Brightening Concealer, and try a beauty blender one of these days!

Nice! Thanks for sharing, I have been having issues with my cover up lately now that wrinkles are starting to show up! 🙁 I still use studio fix mac powder, but I guess I need to try tinted moisturizer…or foundation?
Honestly, I think that MAC might be a little too harsh for your skin. I would try the Koh Gen Do for sure to lessen the appearance of fine lines. But wrinkles?? Girl..no…your face is flawless.
