Whole 30 Snack Zesty Guacamole Recipe

I am so happy that Avacados are on the list of approved Whole 30 Diet foods because this Zesty Guacamole Snack Recipe is delicious. Since starting this healthy eating cleanse, I have been conjuring up different Whole 30 snack ideas and one of my favorites is my Zesty Guacomole dip that I am sharing with you today. With my usual guac recipe, I typically add honey and sometimes even mayo which are both no-no’s according to the Whole 30 Basics. So, with this tasy recipe, I have added a natural sweetener that really takes this guac to the next level of amazing.

Whole 30 Update

Since I have been only doing this Whole 30 Diet for one week, I must admit, it is a challenge. Not anything crazy like giving birth and pushing a child out of a small hole kind of challenging (been there and done that). But more like, I just have to read every label and essentially make everything from scratch. In fact, while grocery shopping I found some Sweet Potato chips and was so excited because they were on the list of basic things you can eat while doing Whole 30. Unfortunitally, I ate the entire bag and then checked in with the group of bloggers I am doing this food cleanse with and they said it wasn’t approved because of the oils they are baked in.  So, I had to scratch that and have been making my own sweet potato chips at home with a mandolin slicer and eating them with the delecious guac instead. I will have more on that next week on the home made sweet potato chips when I give you another update and another recipe that goes well with this Whole 30 Diet approved guacamole.

In other news, my stomach is flatter, my bloating is completely gone, and I feel healthier.  I can certainly feel my body starting to lose the intense craving of needing sugar. On a side note, I am shocked at how sugar is in literally everything. Yuck.
