Top 5 Fall Fashion Trends to Try

A few weeks ago I chatted with my friend Riane from Stello Style about fashion trends for fall and specifically the top Fall Fashion trends. When the weather switches to cooler days and the leaves start to fall, I know it’s time to start changing out my closet. If you are like me, you like to know what the latest style trends are and how to incorporate them into your wardrobe. It’s fun to switch things up and transition your wardrobe to fall by throwing on a leopard print shoe or a new jean trend. My philosphy is that you only live once, so why not? Let’s take a look at these fun new styles.

Top Fall Fashion Trends #1: Animal Print

You can find the animal print trend on flats, boots and booties, cardigans, scarfs and more. There are so many ways to rock this top fall fashion trend. When you are wearing this trend, try to incoporate it in small doeses like wearing a leopard print shoe with a mono-chromatic outfit or a leopard print cardigan (like the one below that I LOVE) with some denim pants and back lace up tennies.

One of the hottest top fall fashion trends is Polka dots! Check out these cute polka dot heeled slides by fashion blogger, Something Navy! I would pair these with denim jeans, a white or graphic t-shirt and a blazer jacket. Or, you could do a polka dot sweater with a short skirt and fall booties or slides.

Top Fall Fashion Trends #3: Flare Leg Jeans

This Flare leg jeans fall fashion trend is a mix between a boot leg and bell bottoms. Though, I think they swing far more towards the boot leg than bell bottoms in my opinion. This trend will look amazing with a t-shirt and a blazer, some heels and a splash of red lipstick. I think they are more dressy than casual. Top Fall Fashion Trends #4: Lace Up Sneakers

For me, lace up sneakers are always one of the top fall fashion trends and just favorite styles in general! But for fall, you can really mix and match and wear them with any of the above trends! You could wear the pink Nike sneakers with denim jeans, a graphic t-shirt and blazer or with the polka dot sweater or even with the long leopard print cardigan. You could even pull off the grey Superga lace up sneakers with the flare leg jeans and a graphic t-shirt. Can you tell that I love graphic-t’s yet? Yes, I am a super fan.

One of the best top fall fashion trends is the blazer! My biggest obsession is the plaid style blazers because they are fun, different, and spice up a boring outfit. You can wear them with a skirt, over a dress, with jeans and a blouse or t-shirt. There are a million different ways to incoporate this fun trend into your fall wardrobe.
