2012 Holiday Party Makeup Look: Blue Christmas

So heres the deal, I usually shy (or run) away from blues on me. But I thought I would go ahead and give it a go, I think this look would be best on someone with brown eyes, just a thought. Enjoy!

Step by Step

1. Base eyelids with the Urban Decay shadow primer then press a blue matte shadow onto your full lower eyelid. I wanted this blue to be fun and bold…so I chose a really bright shade. I don’t know the actual color of this shadow…so find something similar like MAC Freshwater shadow.

2) Next apply the Jouer powder eyeshadow in Caviar into the contour of your eyelid with a blender brush.

3) Now sweep the MAC lose pigment in Vanilla under the brow bone and into the tear duct. You really want to make sure to blend the edge of the Caviar shade with the Vanilla so there is no harsh line.

4) Next I applied the Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyeliner in Radium from the inside of the upper lash line and extending a tiny bit past the the outside corner of the eye.

5) Last but not least, sweep the Caviar shadow close the the lower lash line, then use the liquid liner on the outside corner of the lower lash line. I also used a black eyeliner from Jane Iredale in the water line and then topped everything off with mascara!
