3 Easy Jane Iredale Makeup Quickies

Hello everyone!

I can’t even believe that it is already 7 days into the new year! So far I have packed and moved out of my home in transition to move to TX, finished up a book that will be published and on shelves Nov. of this year, and found out some fun news that I can’t talk about as of yet! So far, 2014 is a busy one…thus the reason why I have been doing lots, and lots, and lots of makeup quickies do to lack of time. Usually this means pulling whatever I have from my purse and making it work.

Recently Jane Iredale sent me a few items that I personally love for on-the-go looks. Check out what I have and how I used it.

If you have sensitive eyes, you are going to want to check the Jane Iredale PureLash Mascara out! This mascara was created specifically for those of us who have sensitive eyeballs. It goes on rather liberally, so make sure to wipe off the edges of the wand back into the tube so you don’t get too much. I was given the Agate Brown, it’s a pretty color if you like an oober natural lash-look. I however, love me some dark-black lashes. Next time I guess.

Jane Iredale Lipstick

Jane Iredale Lipstick in Karen.

If you were to peak into my makeup kit, you would see lots of Jane Iredale Lipsticks. They are really creamy, moisturizing, and give you a nice shade. They aren’t the most pigmented products in the world, but they don’t dry your lips out either and can be layered for additional color. This Jane Iredale lipstick in Karen is perfect if you want something that would work as a sheer cream blush too. I am all about using products for double purposes, and this is a lovely color to be able to do that!

I love these PurePressed eye shadows from Jane Iredale!! They have so much pigment in them, are non-powdery, and very creamy feeling. You really don’t need to apply much in order to create good coverage. It’s also extremely blend-able and after 6 hours on my eyelids, I had no creasing! Not bad.

When the Jane Iredale Mystikols first came out several years ago, I was beyond stoked! I loved that I could just toss them into my purse for touch ups later, and anyone would be able to use them. My mom even loves these….but she ain’t gettin her hands on this one. One of the great thing’s about these Mystikols is that it is duo sided; one side is an eyeliner and the other is a highlighter. I personally use the eyeliner as an eyeshadow as well, and did in this post…it works great because it is creamy.

Additional Company Info: A creamy formula that won’t fade, crease or smear. Hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested, Mystikol is safe for even the most sensitive eyes.

Price: $20.00

    These products look AMAZING!

  • Three great looks. I love Jane Iredale products but haven’t tried any of the newer ones unfortunately. Her liquid mineral foundation is excellent.

    • I haven’t tried the liquid mineral foundation before, just the powder. I liked it a lot when it was used with the setting spray!

    • You need to try their eyeshadows! They are a lot more pigmented than the older ones.

  • I’ve not tried Jane Iredale before, but I like the multi-purpose products and how you got three completely different looks with basically the same products. My fave is the date night look!

    • Thanks Nidia! It’s fun to see how many diff. looks can be pulled off.

  • I love your quickies. My goal this year is to try some Jane Iredale products. Trivial I know, haha!

    • Hey…you are setting your goals high!! haha…you def. need to try it out for sure.

  • I love the versatility of the looks you were able to create with these products. Karen looks amazing as a cheek colour on you and as someone who always prefers darker mascara, you pull off the brown very well! That’s some impressive definition.

    • Thanks Tamara! Yeah, I was surprised with the definition as well. Not so bad for brown!!

  • I really love the lipstick!

  • I love Jane Iredale! Love the looks you put together. Congrats on your move, and your book! You have to keep us posted on when we can find it!
