Press Sample: For all of you nail junkies out there, I think you will be excited about the Mineral Fusion nail polishes that I got to try out this week like I am. I was sent three nail polishes to review and to say they are gorgeous would be an understatement. I got double thumbs up from my husband on the color of these without me even asking. In my opinion, that’s a very good sign that I should keep these on for longer than just swatches.

Brand Description: Dark purple (metallic finish)
My Description: Nearly black with a hint of purple (metallic finish)
My Thoughts: Oh.My.Gosh. I am never taking you off. I really like having dark nails…and having them with a hint of purple makes it even better. I did have to use flash on my camera in order for the purple to show.
My Description: Blue with a hint of purple. This almost looks periwinkle to me.
My Thoughts: Such a great spring color and would look perfect with a fake (airbrushed or bottle) tan.
Brand Description: Flat purple (glitter finish)
My Description: Purple Glitter bomb party
My Thoughts: I am in love with this purple glitter fest. It’s perfect on it’s own…but looks amazing layered over the other two shades.
Over all Thoughts and Opinions: I don’t have anything bad to say about these. I love the packaging, I love the colors sent, and I love that they are free of a lot of questionable ingredients. They also didn’t streak or bubble, and had great staying power. I loved the consistency; not to thick, not to runny. I would recommend that you wait at least 10 minutes to make sure these are completely dried so you don’t have to do any re-touching.
Price: $7.99!! These are totally affordable…I want all 62 of the shade options!
You can find the Mineral Fusion Nail Polishes online, or check on the Mineral Fusion site to find a location near you. I know here in Portland, they sell them at New Seasons and Whole Foods.
