You know when you find something you love and just can’t get enough? That’s how I feel about the lipsticks and glosses from Gerard Cosmetics. I was introduced to them a few months back and used the All Dolled Up lipstick in a makeup tutorial for the holidays. So, if you are looking for a fun Valentines Day makeup look, you should totally check it out.
Today I am not only going to show you the most beautiful bright pink lipstick ever, but a few other lipstick and gloss shades from Gerard Cosmetics that have made a permanent home in my purse lipstick pouch. That is a big deal my friends! If you are a lipstick lover, you are going to love these like so many other Youtubers and Beauty Bloggers do already.
While Gerard Cosmetics is gaining lots of press for their lipsticks, they have also created a pretty big buzz with their brow products and BB Plus Illumination Cream that I am going to review in a few weeks. So stay tuned for more from this brand and in the meantime, let’s look at these lipsticks and glosses.
All Dolled Up Lipstick: This is the bright pink lipstick I think everyone should own. And before you freak out and start self-doubting and think I am crazy for even making the suggestion and also come up with one million reasons why could never pull off this color, listen up! You can pull off whatever you want if you want to. If you are bright pink lipstick curious, just add a dab of this incredibly pigmented and long lasting lipstick to your pout. If you want to go all out, you won’t regret it. I wore this lipstick to church this weekend and felt pretty good about that decision. It was the launch of our church here in Austin, TX where my husband is the pastor. So, I had to either go big (and not in a creepy way) or go home.
Nude Lipstick: I love this peachy nude lipstick from Gerard Cosmetics because it’s creamy, highly pigmented, and lasts through multiple cups of coffee. One tip though with this lipstick is that you should exfoliate your lips well prior to using it. Because it is so pigmented, it will stick to your dried lips and make them more apparent. So what I do with any lipstick that is long lasting and pigmented is exfoliate, moisturize with a chapstick and let it soak, and then blot it down and apply my lipstick.
Nude Lipgloss: This nude lipgloss is the gloss version of the nude lipstick that I just got done showing you. They compliment each other nicely as a duo, or the gloss can be worn alone for a more simple look. This lipgloss is silky feeling and not sticky in the slightest, plus it lasts a long time on your lips.
Candy Apple Lipgloss: Yup, Candy Apple is a pretty good description of this sultry lipgloss color and reminds me of something Snowwhite would have worn. Besides the color, this lipgloss is highly pigmented and looks pretty by itself or layered over the All Dolled Up lipstick. In this photo (that I look incredibly tired in..gah), I just applied one small layer of this lipgloss, so clearly you don’t need very much to get a gorgeous pigment punch.
If you are on the hunt for some new lipsticks and glosses that won’t disappoint, Gerard Cosmetics has several options that will suit your style at a pretty good price! They also offer lipstick and gloss bundles, making their pricing even better. Lipsticks:$19.00 each//Lipglosses: $24.00 each
Have a wonderful day!
