The Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow is one of the latest makeup launches for Urban Decay, and it’s pretty fabulous. Today I am going to review and swatch all 8 of the new moondust eyeshadows so you can see for yourself just how beautiful they are like I did with the new Vice Lipstick Palettes. If you are a cream eyeshadow fan and also love the glitz and glam of a little sparkle, then adding the Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow to your makeup bag won’t be a problem. From a copper shade like Zip to a deep forest green called Zodiac, there is a liquid moondust for every eye color. Also, the holidays are coming, and these glamorous eyeshadows need to be at your party. Just sayin and follow along for some must have beauty tips and tricks using these guys.
What are the Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadows
Have you seen the new Urban Decay Powder Eyeshadows? These are a creamy liquid version which makes them extremely versatile. Like the powder eyeshadows, the liquid Moondust formula has “microfine bits of iridescent sparkle and lush, 3-D metallics for a gorgeous, diamond-like effect”. It’s creamy, lightweight, easy to apply, movable, and also set’s to not budge once it dries. This liquid eyeshadow can be used as an all-over color or as just an eyeliner. It’s perfect for those holiday parties you are attending where a little glam is necessary.

Review of the Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow Colors
How the Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow Feels: I liked how creamy they felt and that you couldn’t feel the iridescent sparkle at all. It almost looks like little diamonds on the eyelid without being creepy about it. I am not much of a sparkle-fest person, but a tasteful amount, absolutely.
Colors I liked Most: I have completely geeked out on the Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadows. It’s hard to choose a favorite, but I was sold on the Recharged , ZAP, and Zodiac. As far as a few favorite colors, those are them, but everything else is a close second like the Chem Trail.
How to use the Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow:
You can use the eyeshadows alone, or layer them to get the look you want. I would say to use them in specific areas and don’t over-do it unless you want your eyes to have a lightbulb effect. For example, I applied the Recharged to my entire eyelid and then used Chem Trail in the corner wich is a great look. But, adding the Chem Trail under my brow would have been absolute over-kill. So, I chose a shimmery cream colored powder eyeshadow instead. Another way to use this liquid eyeshadow is as an eyeliner. I loved using Zodiac to line my eyes; it was gorgeous.
When you apply the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadows, you want to get them in place quickly because once they are dry, they are set not to budge. You can apply them directly to your eyelids, or use them over the top of a powder eyeshadow for added glitz. However it is that you choose to rock them, they will look gorgeous.
Pros: A quick way to add glitter to your eyes without making an absolute mess.
Cons: I can’t find any.
Overall Thoughts and Opinions on the Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow
If you have been interested in wearing a little bit of non-creepy sparkle on your eyes for the holidays, this is the perfect way to do it. I don’t like to mess with applying glitter to the eyes because it’s an absolute pain. But, with the Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow, we can do it no problem.[show_shopthepost_widget id=”1971072″]
