Bridal Survival Kit

Have you ever heard of the term “rotic”? My good friend, Ellie, introduced me to it when I lived in Nashville and it has stuck with me ever since. What does this unusually phrased and made up word mean? “Ro-man-tic without the man.” Love it!  Weather you are single, dating, or happily married, sometimes you need a rotic night where you can just hang with the girls and have a good time.  I think one of those nights is on my horizon very soon. Like May 14th soon.

So, why is this day so special, and why am I making it “rotic?”  The movie Bridesmaids, starring Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph (two hysterical actresses) is coming to theatres.  There is no way I could even pay my husband to go with me (well maybe), so I will make it a girly night.

To make this movie even that much cooler, they teamed up with one of my favorite makeup lines, Urban Decay, to create the “Ultimate Bridal Survival Kit.” Usually I am a little annoyed by product placement in movies and TV shows (i.e. the coco-cola cups in American Idol – we all know Paula wasn’t drinking soda), but this one I am really excited for. Not only is it genius marketing, but also these are great products that should walk down the isle with any bride to be.

First off, how cute is this packaging? I 100% love it and after your makeup is long gone, you can use this as a jewelry box or something.
