Since becoming a make up artist 12 years ago, I have tried half a million eye-liners. Today, I am reviewing the Cate McNabb Gel Liner, which has easily become a top 5 favorite. Finding the perfect eyeliner can be a total pain, but I might have just found one for you that will rock your world like it did mine.
First Glance: This is a jar of gel eyeliner that will be perrrfect for creating a sassy cat-eye. Also, jars of gel-liner usually last for-e-ver.

Here is a little story for you- I have been wearing the Cate McNabb Cosmetics gel liner religiously since it was sent my way. That was until my almost 2-year-old got ahold of it while I was taking a shower, opened the jar, and smeared it all over my white carpet, my new white and floral office chair, my makeup-table, and of course, herself. Her hands were entirely black, and the jar was completely empty.
It took me a half hour to get this gel liner off of my daughter and my $200.00 chair is basically a goner. But thankfully, I was able to get it completely out of my carpet using 99% alcohol. Now, while all of that was a major, major bummer… I found myself really pondering if I was more upset that my chair was ruined or that my new favorite gel liner was completely gone. It was a tough one.
Overall Thoughts and Opinions
I wore this eyeliner from morning until evening in the Texas sun without ever having a single problem with smudging. With this Cate McNabb gel liner, I was able to use only a tiny bit of the product and create my favorite eye-look, the cat eye, with complete ease. This gel liner glided on my lash-line easily, smoothly, and perfectly. It dried quickly and literally lasted through sweat and sun.
This Cate McNabb Cosmetics Gel Liner is a total re-purchase on every level.

What a story! Glad you were able to save the carpet, and sorry to hear about the chair. My mother could tell a similar story about the time I fed chocolates to her vacuum cleaner. But I love the liner. It’s perfect!

How did you get it to last? I had racoon eyes all day. I applied it, let it dry, drove to work 3 minutes away and parked the car. I looked in the mirror and my eyes were all smeared from top lid to undereye area. I literally couldn’t get it to stay for 5 minutes. I wiped off the excess and fixed up what I could and applied powder to the remaining eyeliner but it still continued to smudge throughout the day.
So disappointed. Was expensive too.
