Sponsored: Over the past few months I have been working out hard core, hitting up a fitness class every day at the gym, which is causing me to be in a perma-state of soreness. After having two babies, my body doesn’t look 20 anymore… so I am seriously pushing myself to get it back (or at least 85% of it back… some things will just never be the same without surgery… or just a really good bra). Last week Clearasil sent me their Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Scrub and asked me how I win the day and honestly, working out daily is how I do it. One thing that has helped me work out daily is training my mind to know that I am the only person that has the power to make my body change for the better and get strong again. So, I am going to do it.
After I get home from the gym, I always make sure to wash my face immediately and then follow that with my daily skincare routine. Since I am testing out the Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Scrub, let’s chit-chat about it.
Brand overview: Gentle scrub helps prevent blemishes for radiant skin day after day Clearasil Daily Clear Refreshing Superfruit Scrub is a gentle exfoliating cleanser that helps prevent blemishes. It contains a blend of raspberry and cranberry extracts, known for their antioxidant properties, and Vitamin B3. This exfoliating scrub is infused with a refreshing fragrance you will enjoy using every day.
My Thoughts: Recently I just moved from Oregon to Texas: giving my skin a culture shock. It’s been break out central here everyone, and I don’t like it. So, I really enjoyed using this scrub since it was gentle on my face and most importantly because it has the 1% Salicylic to help loosen that gunk that is giving me unwanted blackheads. I love, love the smell of this scrub, and how it made my skin feel so soft and smooth post treatment.
Price tag: around $5.00
I like that it comes out sort of foamy. It’s really light feeling and I couldn’t even see the scrubbies at first.
This is what the superfruit scrub looks like all spread out. It has teeny tiny scrubbies and then larger micro-spherical scrubs.
Well, I am headed off to the gym right now and am going to kick booty in my Zumba class with my new friend, Ashleigh. To be honest though, I am the worst dancer ever… and I am pretty sure she is embarrassed that I stand next to her and attempt to shake it. There are 80 year olds in this class that I have to stand behind to get the zumba footwork down since the instructor goes too fast for me. (Whatever… I will look dumb whilst burning some calories.)
What are you doing to win the day?
XO!
Kendra
