Yes my beauty addict friends, fall is nearly here, which means swapping out your bright-summer-mani for more moody colors like oxblood, jewel tones, and metallics. If you are looking for the best nail polish colors for fall, I got you covered with designer and drugstore nail polish options to fit your style and pocket book.
While I love the quality, longevity, and packaging of a designer nail polish (hello Christian Loubouitin), not everyone can go blow $25.00 to $50.00 on just one nail polish. So, here is my list of designer nail polish colors for fall with color matches to a drugstore nail polish option. Whether you a designer polish-a-holic, or a drugstore polish addict, there is fall nail polish color for everyone.
Like everything name brand and luxury, you are going to pay for it, and that doesn’t exclude luxury nail polishes. These nail polishes range from $20.00 to $50.00 each (and sometimes more), from luxury name brands like Dior, Chanel, and Dolce and Gabbana. Check out my luxury nail polish picks for fall.
1.Givenchy/Beige Mousseline 02 – creamy nude
2. Guerlain/ Vega
3. Dolce & Gabbana/Deep Green
4. Marc Jacobs/ Dirty Bronze Metallic Shimmer
5. Dior/ Metal Montaigne
6. NARS/Dark Room
7. Givenchy/ Bronze Insense
If you don’t want to pay designer prices, but still want to be on trend, there are tons of fall drugstore nail polish options for you at a fraction of the price. While I can’t say that the quality of a $1.99 nail polish is the same as a $25.00 nail polish, you can still get a similar color for your fall manicure.
1.Wet n Wild MegaLast/ Milk
2. Maybelline New York/ Dressed to Kill
3. O.P.I./ Jade is the new Black
4. NICOLE by O.P.I./ Miss Independent
5. Nails Inc./ South Kensington Nail Polish
6. Eyes.Lips.Face/ High Tide
7. Sally Hanson/ Gilty Pleasures
Designer vs Drugstore: Fall Nail Polish Colors and Pricing
So, now a few questions– Will you we rocking designer or drugstore? What are your favorite fall nail polish colors this season?
Have a great day!
Xo,
Kendra
Love the navy and oxblood shades! Can’t wait to rock them.
I agree with Noelle: the navy and oxblood…and also the hunter green are gorgeous! I’ll do the drugstore version!
I love that dark teal!
I’m so bad, I want them ALL!
I love drugstore polish – I splurge on high end though – I have to really want it!
Bookmarking this post for sure. I need some new polishes and I am loving ALL of these. That oxblood- amazingness!!!
I love all of these shades except the nude. And I love my polish so I will stick to drugstore level pricing 🙂
Thanks for telling us about these options!
Oh my, those MJ polishes look stunning.
I love Fall color collections the best. The dark teals and greens, the oxbloods and deep purples – jewel tones are so my jam. I love getting colors from drugstore to some higher end – Indies are often $8-12, and I have gone a little higher, but I haven’t splurged on a Louboutin yet!… yet..
i love both splurges and saves. I’m always torn.
oxblood and gold for me, they’re perfect for fall / winter
This is a great comparison list!
Great picks! Since I´m on a budget then drugstore versions are what I prefer.
GREAT post. The drugstore really does have amazing options!
I have most of the drugstore options you featured!
Great picks! And those price differences are INSANE. I jet grabbed my first Deborah Lippman polish and that set me back $20. Thank goodness for Nordstrom’s notes!
I mix them up… some designer some drugstore 😉
I’ve found most of the time, the Drugstore quality is JUST as good as the high end!
