Simple DIY Lightbulb Feather Ornament Christmas Gift

I have a┬ásimple DIY Lightbulb feather ornament for you to make for yourself, or as a gift for Christmas. Last year, I made tons of these lightbulb hand made ornaments, placed them in a cute gift box, and gave them in sets of three as presents. The good news is, these feather tree decorations don’t actually look like homemade gifts, but like something you would see in Anthropology. I have these stylish DIY ornaments hanging on my Christmas tree this year and I get compliments on them each time a guest comes over.

How to Make Your DIY Lighbulb Feather Ornament

Seriously, this will be the most simple DIY Gift you will ever do. But if you package it correctly, you can also make this inexpensive gift look more expensive. People love thoughtful presents, and presentation can make a cheap gift look like a million bucks. So, even though this hand made present will literally cost you around $3.00 each, it will look like you spent $15.

Instructions:

First you need to get all of the supplies above for this ornament craft. Then follow the easy instructions below for the most simple home made present ever.

  1. Cut your feathers into small pieces so that they fit inside the glass Light Bulb ornament.
  2. Open up the glass light bulb ornament and place 2 small feathers inside.
  3. Close the lid on the glass ornaments and tye a ribbon through the loop so it can hang on a Christmas tree.

Package Your DIY Lightbulb Feather Ornament

Now that you have your DIY ornament finished, you need to package it together so that it looks fancy. So, get a small box from your craft store, add some tissue to the bottom, and place three of the small ornaments inside. You can embelish the box with some ribbon or yarn for an added touch.
