Eye Duty Triple Remedy Review

New on my beauty desk is the Eye Duty Triple Remedy, and it may just have taken the cake for best under eye treatments. Since the combination of age and being a mom hit, my dark circles and puffiness have become more prevalent. So, when I saw that this eye treatment helped to correct under eye darkness for immediate gratification and treated the problem over the long haul, I knew I needed to give it a try. Let me tell you more about the Eye Duty Triple Remedy while I sip my cup of coffee and start my day off on a coffee high.

brighten depuff undereye

On the days when my under eyes are absolutely hating me, I take special care of them by de-puffing with a cool compress. Then I apply the best eye cream for fine lines and wrinkles and brighten the area with a corrector. With this eye treatment though, I do all of that in one shot that not only saves me time, but saves me money too. It’s like having three products in one, thus the name: Eye Duty Triple Remedy. Let me break down the three benefits for you a little more.

Brighten: Immediately upon application your under eyes are brightened and illuminated due to the light reflecting pigments and soft pink undertone. It also uses Glycerin to hydrate and plump the under eye area to add luminosity.

Depuff: For immediate gratification, the tube has a stainless steel applicator that immediately soothes the area with its very cool touch and helps to smooth out the product. In addition, it also has Caffeine and Licorice Root to depuff and diminish the appearance of dark circles. Over the long haul though, it uses a red algae called Coralline Extract that has anti-redness properties, plus minimizes puffiness and toxins by helping to support natural blood flow.

Smooth: Along with brightening, the light reflecting properties also help to give the appearance of softer and smoother orbital skin. But for long term gratification, this eye product has Retinyl Palmitate and GABA that naturally supports collagen and reduces the appearance of fines lines and wrinkles.

My Experience: I started off with dry, clean, and tired under eyes with nothing at all on them. Then I squeezed a small amount of the eye treatment out of the tube and applied it to my under eyes in one sweep. If you read the instruction though, it says to dot the product instead of sweep it which I think is the better option. Next, I flipped the tube over and started to blend the product into my skin with the stainless steel applicator in a circular motion. Let me tell you though, this is shockingly cold, so be aware.

When I first applied the eye treatment, I thought it was going to be way to0 light, but as I blended, it melted into my skin and looked fabulous. I could really tell that the light reflecting properties and slight pink tint were doing the job of combating darkness, and the metal applicator felt really good on my skin. As far as using the product over time though, let’s talk about the two anti-aging ingredients. Retinyl Palmitate (vitamin A) is near the upper end on the ingredient list, so the effects of it on fine lines and wrinkles will probably be visible. Personally, I use a Vitamin A every day in my skincare routine, so it is hard to tell if there is a difference. As far as the GABA goes, it is meant to relax muscles topically similar to the way BOTOX does by relaxing the way muscles respond to movement. In addition, it also helps to heal wounds and help with skin barrier recovery. With that said, I didn’t notice any muscle movement difference around the eye area, but I am curious about the wound healing and barrier recovery.

depuff and smooth undereyes

Here I am applying the Eye Triple Remedy product to my under eyes. Like I said before, I would suggest dotting the product instead of sweeping it like I am doing.

Smooth and depuff eyes

Once I applied the eye treatment, I smoothed it out in a circular motion with the stainless steel applicator.

review of eye duty triple remedy

As you can see, the eye duty triple remedy did a great job of deleting the darkness from my under eyes immediately. Overall I am really impressed with this product, and I think it’s one of the best under eye products I have tried; I love the stainless steel applicator and the way it illuminates the eye area. I am not sure about the GAMA ingredient, but the Retinyl Palmitate is a good one for the eye are for fine lines and wrinkles. As far as it acting like a concealer, I would think of it more as a corrector for darkness and puffiness. I always use something to correct prior to applying a concealer, so for me, this is a great product to layer with.

If you are on the hunt for something to combat under eye puffiness and dark circles, the Eye Duty Triple Remedy is a good choice for daytime use. However, I would use a different under eye cream for the night as my skin needs a little more moisture.
