Did you know that you don’t need a lot of makeup to get that holiday glow? If I am rushing out the door and only have a few moments to get ready, there are three makeup product essentials for glowing skin that I use nearly every time. If you don’t know much about highlighting or are wanting to try the strobing makeup trend (which is just another word for highlighting), then you need to check out my makeup tips and tricks after you see a few of my favorite products that will give you that party ready glow every time.
For me, glowing skin represents youthfulness and health. So, even if you aren’t attending a holiday party this season, you should just go ahead and do the trend anyways. It’s a beautiful look that amplifies your natural beauty and also say’s you are sophisticated but care-free. This 5-minute holiday makeup look is a must try, and there is a glowing skin essential for every skin color. So basically, there are no excuses.
Here is a quick beauty tip though to make this look go even further. You need to take care of your skin! You can load your face with every highlighting makeup product out there, but it won’t do much if your skin isn’t in good shape. Here are a few quick solutions, try the GlamGlow mask, make a DIY Pumpkin Enzyme Mask or check out my list of glowing skin must-haves.
No matter what your skin color is, there is a makeup product for you that will make your skin glow! Since this is a holiday makeup look, we are wanting shimmery eyelids, illuminated skin, and high shine lips. So, here are a few of my must-have picks for light, medium, and dark skin tones.

I am pretty pale in color that can sometimes make people ask if I am sick or if I am extremely tired (also extremely annoying). So, when I go for skin that glows, I stay away from frosty tones on the face. I like the mix of the Too Faced highlighter/bronzer on my face because it makes me look alive. It’s also extremely versatile with season changes, and it can be layered over more high-impact blush colors.
These three makeup products are the perfect trio and are reasonably priced. I am a huge fan of all the Jouer Cosmetics Mousse Eyeshadows, but Galaxy is wearable for every day and stays on with no need for touch-ups. It also has this beautiful, non-creepy, adult like sparkle that every women and girl should own. On that note, if you are an adult wearing the creepy kind of glitter…stop reading this and discard immediately. Like…right away.

Glad you like them!
What a useful and cute info graphic! Impressive.
Thanks! It was fun to do!
I bought the Joeur but it was too glittery for me. I think the line is just gorgeous though.
Great tips per usual!
That provoke gloss is gorgeous!
I’d like to try the Jouer eye mousse something. I’ve been looking at it online for awhile
I used to think I had to be all matte all the time because of my oily skin, but I really love highlighting and illuminating products! I just have to make sure I’m not greasy, just glowy.
Great tips and I like the infographic. Very cool.
Great post girl. Love it.
Great suggestions! Marking down a few 🙂
