You know when you meet someone and you become insta-buddies? That’s my friend Riane of Stello Style! She’s not only a mom and wife, but she runs a killer styling business with clients flying her all over the world (literally), and she just launched her style blog last week. Talk about #Girlboss to the max. So, today we are teaming up and giving you our holiday style and beauty pairings that are high in style, but also budget friendly so everyone can be up on the current trends.
We chose 5 different style and beauty pairings that include a bag, shoes, and a lipstick. Plus, we also included style and beauty tips as well so that you can be on your holiday beauty game with no problem what-so-ever. Score! We are trying to help all of our sisters out this holiday season with high-end looks that won’t break the bank.
Riane’s Style Tips Don’t be afraid of metallics because they are a fabulous way to dress up any outfit for a holiday evening event. I love the concept of investing in pieces that can be used in multiple ways. What I would tell you if you were my client, is to pair this set with a little black dress or a black skinny jean and cream sweater.
Kendra’s Beauty Tips: So, first off, that clutch. I am obsessed. Second of, these are subtle pops of metallic, so pairing them with a bold lip is going to be amazing. Because these are cool-toned, my suggestion would be to have a clean and glowing complexion, perhaps a thin vintage liner look, a cat eye, and this bold-berry NARS lipstick in No Shame.
Jessica Simpson “Claudette” pump in Alloy Fabric on sale for ($47.37 Found Here)
Phase 3 “Metallic Chain” Foldover Clutch ($28.80 Found Here)
NARS Fantascene’ Killer Shine Lipstick in No Shame (Limited Edition) ($29.00 Found Here)
Riane’s Style Tips: I love the structure in this clutch and pump pairing! The gold pointed toe gives a complement to the clean lines of the clutch. Soft golds are neutral and can be easily worn day or night to any holiday party or outing.
Kendra’s Beauty Tips: I absolutely agree with Riane that these soft gold shoes and clutch picks are neutral and can/should be dressed up or down. I also think that a red lip should be worn not just for evening holiday parties, but daytime too (don’t discriminate against the red lips). I mean, we only live once. If you don’t feel confident with red lips…get over it. Chances are, you are getting in your own head about what people will think about your amazing red lips. If this pep talk still didn’t help you out, then you need to read my blog post on how to apply red lipstick. Also, pick up this Bobbi Brown lippie in Lady Raba…it is everything.

Bobbi Brown Limited Edition Lipstick in Lady Raba: ($27.00 Found Here)
Riane’s Style Tips: Who doesn’t want an excuse to wear great red heels during the holiday season? This pop of color works well with a black clutch, allowing it to stand alone. Try this pairing back with a sassy black faux leather legging and a grey or black sweater.
Kendra’s Beauty Tips: This is what I see when I look at these ah-maz-ing red heels and sweet looking clutch….gold-glossed lips paired with the best cat eye. I have been a long time fan of Jouer Cosmetics, and their lipgloss situation is to die for. Plus, I love that this gold lipgloss is perfect for everyday wear, especially around the holidays.
Steve Madden “Stecy” Sandal in red ($79.95 found here)
Topshop “Castle” Croc Embossed Clutch ($40 Found Here)
Jouer Moisturizing Lipgloss in Nude Glisten ($22 Found here)
Riane’s Style Tips: There is something special about a vintage inspired clutch, and when combined with an animal print sandal you are ready for any holiday party that may spring up. The thin ankle strap adds a feminine softness to this funky vibe.
Kendra’s Beauty Tips: Again, I am going with a bold lip with this look except it’s more of a deep red instead of a true red. Personally, I think you need to be careful with what you do with your makeup when rocking animal print because it can go from classy to..well…mmm…trashy un-classy real fast. So, to keep this look sophisticated, this Vixen Red from Bobbi Brown is the perfect pairing. I would make sure to keep your foundation luminous and clean (try the new Makeup Forever ULTRA HD foundation) and add a cream blush that has a pale pink hue to it. For your eyes, keep it simple, curl your lashes, add a few layers of my favorite mascara, and make sure your brows look fabulous with these eyebrow tips.
Vince Camuto “Court” Calf Hair Ankle Strap ($97.95 Found Here)
Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Vixen Red ($27.00 Found Here)
Riane’s Style Tips: I envision this fun duo back with a fit and flare black dress or a black midi skirt and cream or black turtleneck tucked in just right. With a great shoe and bag, you are ready to ring in the new year!
Kendra’s Beauty Tips: This look to me is all about being soft, glowing, and eye catching. It’s a very classy look that I think should be paired with a soft and neutral lip. I chose the NARS Redemption lipstick because it is a beautiful nude lipstick with an amazing shine-factor that will be perfect with this shoe and bag combo for the holidays.
