I will admit, during warmer summer months I tend to take a break from doing smoky and glam eyes. But since moody weather is right around the corner, black and grey cat eyes it is. Today I am going to show you how to do a cat eye and what eye makeup products you will need to pull it off. Now you can rock some killer eyes with your new chilly weather wardrobe. Bring on all of the fall makeup looks!
This cat eye makeup design might look complicated, but honestly, it’s not. I only used three products on my eyes and they are all drug store brands that are found at any one-stop-shop. As you know, I like to mix high and low-priced cosmetics. Just because something is pricey doesn’t mean it’s amazing in my opinion.
For this look, I used the: Milani Supreme Kohl Kajal, NYC City Proof Waterproof Eyeshadow in Empire State Building (this one is similar), and Rimmel London Lift Me Up Wonder’Lash (similar mascara here).

1)I find that using an eye pencil to create a cat eye is the easiest way to do it. So, line the base of your lashline with the Milani Eyeliner (found here) and then extend it passed your lash line like you are doing a vintage liner look. To get a straight line, use the edge of a business card or something similar to trace along.
2) With the same black eyeliner, line your natural crease line and connecting it with your inner and outer lashline-liner.
3) Fill the blank space in the middle with the grey eyeshadow stick and then blend the edge with a small eyeshadow brush.
4) Smudge the silver Eyeshadow stick on the lower lashline.
5) Curl your lashes and use 2 or 3 layers of the Lift Me Up Mascara from Rimmel London (similar).
Have a great day everyone!
