I am not a huge fan of matte skin even when it’s on trend. It reminds of skin cell build up which in turn reminds me that I am 30 and need to exfoliate more often. So, no matter what time of the year it is, dewy and radiant skin is what I try my hardest to achieve. In addition to chemical peels and amazing skin care, I like to use make up to enhance that glow. Today I have a few new products that I am reviewing from Jane Iredale that are absolutely gorgeous and will make your skin look radiant. I can’t wait to show you!

I just used a pea size amount for my entire face.
This is my hand after I rubbed the Smooth Affair® Facial Primer & Brightener in. Besides the nasty vein on my hand, it really softened the texture appearance on my hand.
My Experience: This felt more like a moisturizer and less like a primer. Sometimes with primers you can really tell that it is loaded with dimethicone, but this does not feel that way at all. I liked that this held my foundation on, has all of the added bonuses of beneficial ingredients like a BB cream, and it seemed to lessen the appearance of pores on my face.
Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Coconut Alkanes (and) Polysilicone 11, Dimethicone/Vinyl, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cyclopentasiloxane, Glycerin, Dimethicone/PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer
Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Pectin, Chlorella Vulgaris/Lupinus Albus Protein Ferment, Maltodextrin, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Fruit Extract, Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture Extract, Raphanus Sativus (Radish) Root Extract, Lecithin, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Ascorbyl Glucoside, Zinc PCA, Sodium Ascorbate, Royal Jelly, Tocopherol, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract (and) Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Xanthan Gum

Jane Iredale So-Bronze® Bronzer
Information from the company: So-Bronze® 1 is a classic terra-cotta color with tiny specks of gold mica-not to add sparkle, but to add glow.
My Experience: This is a great bronzer! It has a little bit of shimmer to it to add that glow, but it’s not overwhelming. It also builds nicely if you want a deeper bronzed look.
Ingredients: Mica, Boron Nitride, Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Stearate, Dimethicone, Stearic Acid, Pine Bark Extract, Pomegranate Extract, Isopropyl Jojobate. May Contain: Iron Oxides, Carmine.
Price: $42.00 (Expensive, but quality)
Vegan/Gluten Free/Animal Cruelty Free

Jane Iredale IN TOUCH® HIGHLIGHTER
Information from the Company: A cream-to-powder highlighter that illuminates the cheeks, eyes and brow bone.
My Experience: I am dying over how much I love the In Touch highlighter from Jane Iredale! It looks angelic on the skin and is perfect for a dewy look. It’s really pale in color with the slightest tint on pink and looks gorgeous when applied above your cheekbones. It also glides over the skin easily when applied directly from the tube. But I found it best to use the tips of my fingers to apply it.
Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Dimethicone, Ethylhexyl Olivate, Mica (CI 77019), Dimethicone/Polyglycerin-3 Crosspolymer, Glycerin, Boron Nitride, Octyldodecyl Oleate, Alaria Esculenta (Algae) Extract, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Lonicera Caprifolium (and) Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Raphanus Sativus (Radish) Root Extract
Price: $28.00 (worth every penny)

My Jane Iredale Glowing Skin Look
Over All Thoughts & Opinions
On my face I have the primer, bronzer, and highlighter from Jane Iredale. All three of these products worked to help my skin look pretty awesome considering I have no foundation on what so ever. Of the three items, the In Touch Highlighter gave me the biggest results for dewy skin. I love that the bronzer will carry me through every season and I am guessing will last me over a year. As far as the primer goes, it’s one of the better ones I have tried.
XOXO,
Kendra

Great review, love the highlighter especially!
I love Jane Iredale products but just a heads up for any other vegans who may read this, the products you featured aren’t actually vegan. Jane Iredale do offer lots of vegan options but these three aren’t 🙂
