Hey guys, I hope you all had a fab weekend! Last week I was sent a few products from the Jane Iredale, Spring 2014, Magic Hour Collection and I wanted to let you in on my thoughts. I have been a big fan of Jane Iredale for a good 10 years (ugh…time is flying) so I am always thrilled to get to test out some of their latest items. Today I am reviewing Jane Iredale Lip Fixation in Craze and the Gel Eyeliner in Brown. Let me know what you guys think and if you have ever tried this!
Like I said, I only have a few of the pieces from this collection to review for you today. If you want to see the full collection of the Magic Hour Collection, head on over to Jane Iredale and check it out.
Jane Iredale Lip Fixation in Craze

Price: $30.00 (a little steep…I would price it around $25.00)
My Thoughts: What I most noticed about the Jane Iredale Lip Fixation in Craze is that it didn’t suck the life out of my lips on contact. But because of that, it did make them feel a bit sticky and tacky if I didn’t apply the lipgloss. Another great thing is that is is really buildable as you can see in the pictures above. If I just wanted a sheer look for going to the gym, I applied just one layer, but for a more bold look, 2 layers was definitely sufficient. I also really liked the color a lot, I feel like I could just wear this alone and it brightens up my face. Perfect for those afternoons where my lips are the only thing getting color as I am dashing out the door. But with all of that said, I think the price tag would make me think twice about repurchasing. I know Jane has really high quality products and that’s why some thing’s are more…so, for some people, this may not even be an issue.

Jane Iredale Gel Eyeliner in Brown
About From the Company:
- Soft and creamy, they glide on smoothly for a defined or smudgeable line, then set to stay just how you like.
- Highly pigmented, water resistant and long lasting.
Ingredients: Isododecane, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Ozokerite, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Propylene Carbonate. [+/- (May Contain) Iron Oxides (Ci 77489, Ci 77491, Ci 77492, Ci 77499), Mica]
My Thoughts: I have to say, this brown gel liner from Jane Iredale is one of the better gel liners I have tried. It was extremely smooth and applied like a breeze. It dried quickly.. but not so quick that I couldn’t manoeuvre it how I wanted. Plus, I didn’t really have to use much to get the look I wanted. I really want the black shade now!
Rating: I am in love with you (5 points)
This is just a really simple look. Besides mascara, all I have on is the Lip Fixation lipstain in Crave and Brown gel liner. I don’t even have blush on! I think the lipstain did a pretty good job of brightening up my face considering the lack of other makeup I am wearing in this photo. What do you think?
