Oh my gosh, we survived the madness of Mothers Day and are back to Monday once again. My husband and girls got me a (90 min.) massage… I can’t wait to indulge in that tomorrow. Although, I have to say I am sad to have to wait another year to not clean my home for a day entirely guilt free, I couldn’t wait to snap pictures of these Japonesque goodies that arrived last week. I have have been a fan of Japonesque tools, kits, and supplies etc. for a long time, but had never tried out their cosmetics. So let’s check out what they sent me, shall we?
Brand Overview: High pigment eye shadow. Richly pigmented eye shadows in micronized powder formula for exceptional color integrity. Apply sheer for an ethereal veil of color or layer and build for dramatic impact. Glaze the eyes with iridescent light or create bold color statements with gleaming metallics and rich, suede-finish mattes. High pigment, mineral and micro-pearl content achieves multi-dimensional color and effortless blending for a stunning array of looks. Two complimentary shades to be worn together, or paired with Japonesque Color single Velvet Touch Eye Shadows to create a multitude of different looks.
My Thoughts: This metallic, Japonesque eyeshadow duo #10 is really rich with color, smooth, and easy to blend. I would say that the color on the darker shade is more of an army green/gray color, while the lighter shade is more cream. Also, I am obsessed with the unique packaging, and I love that it’s small enough to stuck in a purse for touch ups. Now I just want all of the other eyeshadows in this collection.

My Thoughts: What I noticed most about this Japonesque eye shadow brush is that it did an excellent job of picking up the eyeshadow and keeping it there until I applied it to my eyes. All of the natural bristles were soft to my eyes, the shape was great. Overall, this is a perfect every day brush.\

Brand Overview: Designed With Japonesque’s Legendary Excellence And Swirled With The Exclusive Blue Pigments Of The Japonesque Color Line, This Professional Crease Brush Expertly Contours The Eyes For Outstanding Depth And Dimension.
My thoughts: I think a blending brush like this is one of the most important brushes for applying eyeshadow. I can’t stand when these don’t do a good job by not properly blending the eyeshadow together. With that said, wow, this Japonesque Eye Crease brush worked great and the design on the brush stem is awesome! It’s soft and not stiff which allowed me to blend everything really well. But I also felt like if I wanted to intensify my crease for a more dramatic look, I could do that as well.
