Hair dryers are one of those thing’s that tend be looked over as an important hair tool to invest in. But I learned a few years ago (when my hair was platinum blonde, basically dead, and begging for a revival) that buying a high quality hair dryer was actually incredibly important and saved my hair from getting unnecessary hair damage from other hair styling tools. So I am excited to see if the John Frieda Salon-Shine Hair Dryer is actually a salon quality hair dryer that you can feel good about purchasing.
Let’s see, shall we?
I would have to say that my experience with the John Frieda Salon-Shine hair dryer was really good! One thing that stood out to me while drying my hair was the compactness of this hair dryer. It fit into my hand perfectly and didn’t feel gigantic and awkward to handle like some large hair dryers do. The attachments were a little hard to get on, but they didn’t fall off at all once they were on. That might not sound like a big deal, but my other attachments for my other (way more expensive) hair dryers fall off all-the-time….and it’s super annoying.
When I was done blow-drying my hair, I was really impressed with how frizz-free my hair really was. I didn’t need to use a hair straightener at all to get my hair looking silky, soft, and straight. That’s impressive for a hair dryer that only costs $39.99 in my opinion because I have ones that are well over $100.00 and I am getting the same results.
WITH ALL OF THAT SAID…you need to blow dry your hair correctly in order to have any hair dryer work well on you, even if it has all the bells and whistles like this one does. That means: using a round brush, using a low heat, taking your time and not submitting your hair to a heated tornado. I have two kids, so I know some of you are rolling your eyes at me with the “taking your time” thing. But if you want good hair, and you care about taking care of it…you gotta make the time. Wash your hair at night or something. Rant over.
I Am In Love With You!! (5 points)
