Josie Maran Cosmetics and Beauty Products Review

Today I am reviewing A TON of products from Josie Maran! Have you tried this brand before? Beyond the cosmetic side of Josie Maran, I love the heart behind this brand. Josie Maran Color Stick in Peach

Brand Overview : “An argan oil-infused, sheer color stick that grants a lasting, natural flush to cheeks and lips.”

My Thoughts: Well you can already guess that I love the color of the Josie Maran Color Stick. I love that it is a dual purpose product that can be used on my lips or on my cheeks. It gave me a nice pop of color without being overwhelming.

Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eye Shadow in Beach Sand

Brand Overview: “An innovative, bi-phase, liquid eye shadow formulated with coconut water for more hydrated, healthier-looking lids.”

My Thoughts: Before I tried the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Eye Shadow in Beach Sand,  I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to work since the product looked to be separated. But once it was shaken up, oh my word, it was a pigment party. I hardly had to use any…well, a dot to be exact to cover my entire lower eyelid. This is is definitely one of my favorite products now.

Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in Honeymoon Honey

Brand Overview:  “An innovative coconut water-infused cheek gelée with up to 14 hours of color and hydration.”

My Thoughts: Once again I am surprised by how much I love the Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in Honeymoon Honey! It is formulated with 50% coconut water with also the benefits of Argan Oil to leave your cheeks feeling nourished. This product gives your cheeks a nice stain…it is not overwhelming in color, but it is buildable if you want more. At first I was pretty unsure about the color on my skin…but it ended up giving my a nice glow and acted almost like a bronzer for me.

Josie Maran Josie Maran Argan Illuminizer

Brand Overview:  “An ultra-light skin brightener with a hint of bronze.”

My Thoughts: Major yes on the Argan Illuminzer! I love it is easy to apply and give you a nice sun-kissed but very dewy look to your skin. This is perfect for the every day person who want that J-Lo glow, or the bride who is about to walk the isle. Reminder though, a little goes a long way!

Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream

Brand Overview:  “An ultrahydrating, never-greasy hand cream infused with 100 percent pure argan oil and shea butter, and lightly scented with a natural vanilla apricot fragrance.”

My Thoughts: If you are looking for a highly fragranced hand cream, the is not the one for you! But, if you want a very moisturizing hand cream infused with Argan Oil to make your hands feel soft and amazing, the Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream is for you!

Josie Maran Argan Beautiful Eyes Beautiful Smoke

Brand Overview:  “A beautiful compact featuring four color coordinated eye shadows and one shadow liner.”

My Thoughts: I love all of the colors in the Beautiful Smoke Palette. It gave off pretty good pigment and the liner was a great touch, but I would suggest using a primer with it for sure!

100% Pure Argan Oil

Brand Overview:  “A lightweight oil that can be used as a daily moisturizer or treatment for skin, hair, and nails.”

My Thoughts: Usually with Argran Oils I find that there is a scent or fragrance. But this one is fragrance free and it was grown organically in Morocco. While I didn’t use it on my hair, I have been using it every day for my face and I love it! It is an oil, so if you tend to be oily, maybe this isn’t for you! But I tend to have dry skin…so this is working out perfectly.

Josie Maran Argan Oil Hair Serum

Brand Overview:  “An anti-frizz treatment that creates exceptional shine.”

My Thoughts: So you are probably wondering why you would buy this instead of just the 100% argan oil that works with your hair as well! These are two totally different products. This feel more like a serum with a slight silicone texture to it while the Argan Oil feels like straight-up-oil. It made my hair feel silky and frizz free despite the humidity of the Austin, TX air. This has a nice and soft fragrance to it that isn’t overwhelming in the least.
