I am starting to really appreciate these collaborations with Glamour. I guess great minds put together great boxes? I am thrilled with my July Birchbox…take a peak below at why!
This may not look like much, but there are some serious treasures in this box. My favorite so far!
What It Is and My Thoughts: As random as it was getting earbuds in my Birchbox–I am actually glad I got them. Not necessarily for my sake, but because my daughter snatched them up promptly and became the proud owner of her first pair of “pretty” earbuds. They were pink and blue, her favorite colors and I think she rocks them well. (Thanks little Z for being my model- you make your momma proud!)
Price: $10.00 Birchbox exlusive
What It Is and My Thoughts: This is a sample I wish I had more of, but I guess that is the beauty of the Birchbox. Now I must purchase it because I love it and need to have it. The Supergoop Endless Summer SPF 30+ UV lotion is a full spectrum, paraban free, fragrance free, and oil free formula. It goes on lightweight and can even withstand 80 minutes in the water! Since I am a sun protection freak, this is a must have.
Price: $48.00 18 fl oz
Rating: I can’t live without you (5 points)
What Is Is and My Thoughts: Since I am not a natural brunette (yes I am a fake), using the Alterna Bamboo UV+Color Protection Fade Proof Fluide (longest name ever) is a perfect option. This lightweight and organic bamboo finishing gloss was one of the most glorious smelling hair products to touch my locks. What’s the secret? Antioxidant Rich-South African Watermelon which helps block UV rays from dulling down color.
Price: $24.00
Rating: I think I really like you (4 points-didn’t have enough to know if it really does help with fading color.)
What It Is and My Thoughts: Now you can have a flawless thick or thin liner look with the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner. This felt pen look alike is the easiest liquid liner I have ever used and is one of my favorite items I have ever received from my Birchbox subscription! I have used in nearly every single day since its introduction into my life.
Price: $15.00
Rating: I can’t live without you (5 points)
What It Is and My Thoughts: Harvey Prince Eau de Parfume in Hello simply did have me at hello. I was momentarily whisked back to my recent Hawaii vacation with the dreamy notes of Pink Plumeria that twirled in the air as I welcomed my first real lei. On the other hand (being the pregnant women I am), breathing in the scent of Meyer Lemon only made craving whole lemons to eat–much, much worse. Oh- and I must mention that my husband stopped me and asked what I was wearing! What else could a girl want?
Notes: Meyer Lemon, White Grapefruit, Satsuma Mandarin, Summer Forsythia, Pink Plumeria, Wild Verbena, Tahitian Vanilla, Sensual Musk.
Price: $26.00 8.8ml
Rating: I can’t live without you (5 points)
What It Is and My Thoughts: We go through mints in our household like we go through water, milk, and fishy crackers. Since my 2-year-old daughter asks for them about every 5 seconds, they are a “hot commodity.” In fact, while trying to capture pictures of the Tea Forte minteas, they were suddenly half gone. Good thing I took a few before it was nearly emptied. I did get to snag a few for myself and liked the twist of Ginger Pear and the lemongrass yuzu blend.
But while having fresh breath is a good thing, I think I would have rather enjoyed a mini lipgloss or something in my beauty box subscription. I am glad my daughter was thrilled though.
Price: $9.99 (3 pack)
Rating: I like you but (3 points)
Overall Rating + Thoughts and Opinions
I think it’s clear that I am pretty happy with my Birchbox. It’s my favorite so far, I love getting full size anything, but especially something I am going to buy and re-purchase for sure.
Rating: I can’t live without you (5 points)

Your daughter is gorgeous! Nice review, gotta get that liner and perfume. I have been considering signing up for Birchbox since it seems they give cool products. Love checking out your reviews, they are a good read. Happy Friday:)
Hi Pamela!
Birchbox is fun…it can be pretty hit and miss though. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I am completely bummed out about what I got.
Oh..and thanks for the compliment on my daughter!
