Lancôme DRAMA LIQUI-PENCIL™ Longwear Eyeliner Review

I am tasting alll the colors of the rainbow today with the new and exclusive to Sephora, Lancôme DRAMA LIQUI-PENCIL™ Longwear Eyeliners. There are 16 colors to obsess over ranging from black and brown, to bold pink and blue. Literally, whatever makeup mood you might find yourself in, there is a Lancome eyeliner to match it.

Even better than the fabulous color selection is the innovative formula that will make all of our lives easier. As busy women managing careers, families,  and whatever else, we have about zero time for makeup touch-ups throughout the day. So having a product, especially an eyeliner, that is truly longwear and not high-maintenance is essential.

Lancôme DRAMA LIQUI-PENCIL™ Longwear Eyeliner

What’s so unique about the Lancôme DRAMA LIQUI-PENCIL™ Longwear Eyeliners is that they have the color intensity of a liquid liner along with the ease of application, except for in a pencil form. So, if you find yourself intimidated by busting out a liquid liner, but still want that look, these are the solution. Plus, they give you 24-hours of a non-budging or fading eye makeup look.

There are a few thing’s to know about this Lancome eyeliner formula, though. Since they have the color intensity of a liquid, and because they set for 24 hours, you need to make sure to apply the color in the spot you want it.  I noticed that you have about 7 seconds after applying to smooth it out with an eyeliner brush before it doesn’t budge any longer. Also, they are incredibly creamy for easy application, so you want to use very light pressure to not smash or break the eyeliner.  This rule also applies when you are sharpening your eyeliner; don’t shove it into a pencil sharpener like you would a firmer formula. With that said, if you refrigerate your eyeliner pencils (in general) you can sharpen them better.

Above you can see all of the colors from the Lancôme DRAMA LIQUI-PENCIL™ Longwear Eyeliners and how they looked on my green eyes. Honestly, there isn’t a color I didn’t like, but I will get the most usage out of the neutral colors like Noir Intense and Brulee. For the days where I feel like I could use a splash of color, Baroque and Cote d’Azur are stunning. And of course, for fall, Parisian Night and Ampoule are an absolute must have.

From Left to Right, Top to Bottom: Lancome Noire Intense, Paradis, Ampoule, Macaron, Parisian Night, Embrase, Lame, Pacifique, Brulee, Cote d’Azur, French Lace, Soleil, Pluie, Baroque, Lumiere, Minuit

This is my vampy fall inspired makeup look using Ampoule and Noir Intense. You can see how well it pops even over black eyeshadow. There are so many looks that can be created with these Lancome eyeliners; it’s literally endless. So…pick a color, and play.

Have a great day!
