Spring 2013 Londontown Lakur: Enhanced Colour Collection

Press Sample- Spring 2013 Londontown Lakur: Enhanced Colour

I love spring and nail polish, so I am excited to show off this brand new spring nail polish collection by Londontown. Ranging from black all the way to white, there is something that will fit any outfit and any mood! My experience with this nail polish collection was pretty incredible. To be honest, I was shocked at how pigmented and gel like in texture this polish was. Two coats was plenty for each shade, although with some, I did add a topcoat as specified below. I would make sure to allow each layer to dry completely before adding an additional layer.

 Chelsea Porcelain

White nail polish has become all the rage and I love it because it is simple and clean. With only two coats (no top coat), you can see how white and porcelain-esc my nails look. This nail polish is very matte and you need to let the first layer completely dry before adding a second. Chelsea Porcelain-$22.00

This nail color was inspired by a long standing tradition–tea time. I like the nude color choice to represent the name. I can imagine the Queen wearing this shade because it is tasteful, classy, and would pair well with any clothing option. Teatime-$22.00

Thames from the Eye

Look at how gorgeous this robin egg blue colored nail polish is! I am very pleased with how pi gmented this nail polish is! Again, I only used two layers and no top coat to make my nails look like this. This also dry’s to a semi-matte finish. Thames from the Eye $22.00

Purple Reign

Purple rain makes me a little giddy- I am a huge purple fan, especially when it is light and pretty likes this. It goes on smooth like butter, and dry’s to a gorgeous semi-matte. I did add on a top coat to add a bit of shine to this polish color. I-love-it. Purple Reign $22.00

Dear Radlett, you and your bubble-gum-pink color had me at hello. Once I saw you, I knew we would get along very-very well. The end. Radlett $22.00

Weekend Cheers

Yeah, I would say this color remind’s me of a weekend party scene! Bright, cheery, and very playful. I used two coats and am really happy with the color payoff. Weekend Cheers $22.00

Guarded Jewel

Of the bunch, this was my least favourite color. Not that it’s not pretty, but because it’s just not a color I would personally wear. It does go on well and when it dries, it definitely reminds me of a ruby. Guarded Jewel $22.00

Chim Cher-ee

I don’t have a black heart, but I sure like to have some black nails. As weird as it may sound, this is my go to color. It’s chic, bold, and goes well with a ton of outfits that I like to wear. This color is as black as it gets and dry’s to a semi-matte finish. Again, I used a top coat to give a little shine…although, it looked gorgeous matte too! Chim Cher-ee $22.00

Which color choice will you choose?
