Today is the last day of our Maui vacation…it was so much fun and I am pretty sad to leave. But, I am ready to get home and get into the “swing” of thing’s again, work hard, and make some dreams happen. It’s nice to get away and re-focus from time to time .
With that said, I wanted to share with you the “must have” essentials that I brought with me from my beauty cabinet on this trip. What are some thing’s that you won’t vacation without?
The Makeup Department
From Left to Right: Jane Iredale Dream Tint SPF 15 in Medium Light, Makeup Forever HD Foundation, Makeup Forever Smoky Lash Mascara, Tarte Eyelash Curler, The Balm Betty-Lou Manizer Bronzer, Lancome Le Crayon Khol Eyeliner in Black Ebony, Benefit Stay Don’t Stray Eyelid Primer, Urban Decay Vegan Palette (no longer available), The Balm Frat Boy Shadow/Blush
Here are 6 of my makeup brush essentials that I travel with. The first three are from Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, then Crown Brush and Jane Iredale. I like to mix it up.
The Skincare Department
From Left to Right: Epionce Gentle Foaming Cleanser, Epionce Lytic TX, Epionce Renewal Facial Cream, Obagi C-Sunscreen SPF 30
I didn’t bother with the hair department in this post because It’s just shampoo and conditioner. Swimming in the salty ocean and swimming pools make me a bit lazy about doing my hair. My best friend becomes a hair tye! Don’t judge.
Adventures From Maui
This is a picture of a picture from our dinner cruise last night on the Maui Princess. The food was yummy, the sunset was breathtaking…and my husband was looking rather dashing as well.
Here is an up-close shot of the makeup I was rocking for our fabulous date night.
Yes I took this picture. This was a view of the ocean from our first condo we stayed in! I think I could wake up to this scenery every day.
If this fruit stand could be in my backyard at all times that would be amazing! We stopped here on hour drive to Hana. Although we only made it about 45 minutes in because I am prego and the crazy roads were making me sick. We did however stop at the Twin Falls and hiked that…it was beautiful!
Well that’s all the pictures I have for today! As I gather more from my husbands phone and our camera…I will post a few more. I hope your Tuesday is amazing! Aloha!

This is good info as me and my hubby are starting to pack for our month long trip across the US in our little vintage trailer. I have been trying to decide what my bare essentials are. I think mascara is always at the top of my list then daily sunscreen, 20spf bronzer, liquid liner in case I want a vintage wing thrown in here and there. Oh and I can’t live without my organic “VYNE” rootbeer lip balm. It’s made locally in Gresham, OR and I no longer can live without it. I think I need to invest in some hair product that will help me go for the beachy sun-dried look since I don’t think I will be using anything with electricity for all of July. Any advice on the hair?
Have you ever tried Bumble and Bumble Surf spray? I feel like that’s an easy way to get that beachy cute hair look while on the go. You just spray it into your damp hair and let it air dry.
p.s. You can get VYNE lip balm and other amazing products on ETSY http://www.vyne.etsy.com
I love the Betty-Lou manizer bronzer! My favorite for a summer bronze glow. You look gorgeous, and seeing this pictures makes me wish i was back in Kauai!!
Thanks Pamela!!
Yeah I got the Betty-Lou manizer at a killer deal…it’s definitely a great product and I use it every day! Thanks for the comment and the compliment!
