Personally the feeling of caked on makeup just feels nasty. I wish I could high-five whoever first came up with the idea of a BB Cream or a tinted moisturizer…that’s how much I like them. Anyhoo- I will google that later on because right now I am going to review the Mineral Fusion All-In-One BB cream and the Mineral Fusion 3-1 Color Stick. Let’s see if these two change my life.

My Thoughts: For starters I really liked the texture of the Mineral Fusion Illuminating BB Cream, it didn’t feel heavy at all and definitely moisturized my skin. My biggest complaint would be that it really gave me very little coverage and turned a half shade darker once it set. With that said, my skin has been erupting into full fledge mountains (with white caps..haha) since I moved to Austin, TX last week and I didn’t expect the BB cream to conceal that. If my skin was in a different state (literally), I may have felt different about the coverage. It wasn’t oily at all..and with a little concealer in the blemish filled areas, I was able to make it work. I don’t however think that this will work for everyone as there is only one shade that is suppose to adjust to everyones skin tone. It’s a pretty light shade and I think it would make a darker skin tone look ashy. One last thing, it has a spf of 9!! What? Mmm…thats really not going to do much for me in the sun so I will def. have to apply some additional sunscreen.

Overall Thoughts & Opinions:
I am disappointed in the BB cream. I think for most people…one size (or shade) doesn’t fit all because we are all so unique and different. However, I LOVE the 3-in-1 Color Stick for sure. What do you guys think?
XOXO!

Your pic looks great! Too bad about the BB cream, but I appreciate knowing not to grab this one! I love the 3 in 1, gorgeous shade!!
I agree with you, I wish companies made BB creams for different skin shades, that’s why I have to order mine from Korea. The blush looks great on you though!
The color stick is nice. The BB Cream would irritate me.
Gorgeous blush on you!!!
Encouraged that the BB cream is free of chemical sunscreens… more companies need to take notes. The blush is pretty. 🙂
You look so pretty with that on!
Thanks for telling us which one NOT to get! 😀
That color stick is perfection! omg!
The 3-in-1 looks amazing!
Wonder why they scrimped on SPF, I mean 9? that sounds weird.
I like the flush of color the 3 in 1 stick gives you! I’m a fan of the Mineral Fusion bronzer
I’m always looking for BB creams for warmer weather, but this may not be the best fit. I’m in love with that blush. Gorgeous color yet a natural look.
spf 9? 9? Yeah, that’s enticing. lol
The color stick looks truly amazing!
That sucks about the BB Cream, I know all too well they dont make a good shade range across the board.
Too bad about the BB cream, but the color stick is nice.
That blush is super pretty!
Thanks for the honest review – I love the 3-in-1 on you!
The colour stick looks gorgeous.
I understand the texture and color of this bb cream won’t work for everyone. I love it though! I have fair/light skin without any active blemishes (I do have light red scarring from recent acne that is slowly fading). My skin gets a little dry in the winter, a little oily in summer. I apply a light layer of moisturizer first when I’m dry, and wear the bb cream alone when I’m oily. It makes my skin look very smooth all day long.
HI! I definitely agree that the BB cream is probably not suitable for all shades. However, if you are a light/medium white girl who has combination skin– I definitely recommend trying it (in the store first, obvs, to see if it does match your skin tone). I’ve been using it for a week now and am very satisfied. Didn’t try the 3-in-1, but the color looks like my old blush shade that needs to be replaced.
