Whats better than new shoes? New makeup, *duh*. Whats better than new makeup? Pairing them in a blog post with my new leopard print heels of course. Both of these fantastic finds caught my eye while perusing the isles of one of my go to stores, Target. I am usually not an animal print kind of girl…but since stocking one of my favorite fashion bloggers…I have been transformed (thanks Corals and Cognacs).
Of course I can’t ever leave Target without checking out whats new in the makeup department, that would be against my own beauty loving nature. I always find something to bring home which makes my husband a tad bit annoyed. This time I found the new L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche eyeshadow Quads and Caress Aqua Lip Lacquers. It was extremely hard to choose just one, but I ended up with the Hollywood Icon shadow and Pink Rebellion lacquer, both extremely eye catching.

Out of all of the shades in this collection, this one was begging to make it into my cosmetic bag. I think I made a good choice don’t you?
This lipgloss feels like a gel, smells like a rose, and wears like a stain. It’s not super glossy at all once it dries (like the Target site says), but it sure did last all day long and it’s a beautiful shade.

My Look
I will be honest, today I felt like anything but Hollywood Icon-esc with chasing my 2.5 year old around and keeping my 3 month old from crying. But the beauty of this quad is that even though these eyeshadow shades might initially scare you off, you can still pull off something day-time and simple. So, I guess you could say this is my Hollywood Icon around the house look. But don’t be mistaken- I will bust out those dark eyes tonight *wink-wink*.
Leopard Print + L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche=LOVE
They get along rather well I must say.
Overall Thoughts and Opinions
With these four shades, I got four looks and I know there a million other looks I can get out of this. That may have been a slight exaggeration ..but you get the point. As far as color pay off goes, the shadow colors wore rather brilliantly don’t you think?
I liked the lip stain color a lot! However, I did have to layer it a few times to get the right amount of stain for me. Oh, and one more reason to buy this, I have it on my cheeks in the pictures above! It gave my skin the most amazing sheer pink glow ever. This is a must have for any person in a rush.
Did I mention that I only payed $14.98 for these two makeup buys?
