NEW: philosophy fragrance loveswept

Sponsored Post:  It was September 8th 2005, the day that a blind date would change the course of my life forever. Ezra had just moved back to Oregon from Cali. and I had just moved back to Oregon from Nashville. We were both recently single when my friend from Nashville who knew Ezra from living in California, told us both that we needed to meet one another. I had no idea what he looked like as he didn’t have a MySpace account. I, however was already social media savvy, he knew exactly what he was getting himself into. (That’s totally not fair, but I trusted my friend.)

So after a week of chatting on the phone for hours on end, we decided we should meet up after all. I was so excited until halfway through the day when he told me to check my email to see the pic. he sent over of himself (he didn’t have a Myspace account). When I opened up the email I felt a rush of blood go to my head and then absolute sheer panic…I was looking at a dude with a flaming red 1980’s mullet, skin whiter than snow white, a huge zit on the tip of his nose, and a long black trench coat. All he wrote was, “sorry, I am not that photogenic.”

But since I was not bold enough at the time to make up some lame excuse to skip the date, and because his personality had me sold, I thought I would still go out with him. Maybe I could pull the, I am not looking to date anyone card at the end, I needed some sort of escape plan. I planned that escape plan all the way up until he rolled up to my house and stepped out of his car. Holy smokes, he was a liar…and I was beyond happy about that.  The boy was a major hottie.

After a night of endless talking and a fare amount of flirting…my stomach was full of butterflies. That night was the beginning of our love story; I was loveswept.

Recently philosophy launched their new romantic fragrance, loveswept. This is an intoxicating scent with a blend of soft florals that will sweep you off your feet and leave you energized. If you are a floral scent lover, you will want to give this a try. It not only smells amazing, but the price point is not at all what I was expecting. I thought this was a $60.00 bottle of goodness, when in-fact, it is only $46.00 for the 2 oz and $16.00 0.05 oz ! To me, this is the perfect Valentines gift for yourself (nudge to your significant other), your daughter, or perhaps a best friend.

I love what’s written on this back of the fragrance. I couldn’t agree more that to love is to live.
