Obagi- Skincare to Obsess About

**One thing I love about what I do is that I get to connect with other people in my industry and “talk product.” Heather, is not only a friend, but she is an amazing rep for Obagi Medical, one of my favorite skin care lines. I love this skincare line because of what it has done for my skin personally! I use the CRX system which gives my face this gorgeous glow. Although it is not a cheap line, you do pay for what your get. Obagi is in most plastic surgeon offices, and is usually monitored by a physician due to the high percentage in active ingredients. So, here is my interview with one of my favorite reps in the industry, hope you enjoy!

K: How long have you been a part of Obagi and what attracted you to this company?

H: I have been with Obagi for 2 years. I love the fact that it is Rx skin care and actually changes how your skin looks.

K: Do you find there are challenges with this product line?

H: Usually when people use too much Retin-A. lol!

K: I know! People don’t realize that a little goes a very long way with a Retin-A. I always recommend a pea size amount; sometimes people translate that into a “dime” size. It’s a bummer when they do that! Speaking of “using too much”, Obagi is known for being aggressive and some people really shy away from that. How do you respond to those who might be hesitant?

H: I thought the same thing. There are several different skin care lines by Obagi and there is one for everyone. It is only as aggressive as you want it to be.

K: Good to know! If you were to pick one reason why you think Obagi sells so well, what would it be?

H: Time after time I hear patients and customers say, “I can’t believe how amazing my skin looks on Obagi.” It is the only medical grade skin care line on the market. When you use it, you actually see your skin change.

K: I agree with that, you really can see the skin change, and quickly too! Are there any myths about Obagi that you would like to dispel?

H: Not that I can think of. Obagi is a very safe and effective skin care line.

K: What Obagi product could you never live without?

H: NuDerm, Retin A, SFP 50, and Elastiderm eye cream.

K: How is Obagi different from all of the skin care companies we see on television endorsed by celebrities?

H: It is the only Rx skin care line on the market and only sold through physicians.
