Honestly, I have been a fan of Pacifica for a long time because their candles are blow-your-mind amazing (the Fig candle is so good). But it wasn’t until this collection landed at my door that I really discovered their cosmetics. Don’t get me wrong, I had heard of the cosmetics line before and since I am an avid Target shopper, I had seen the line, but this is the first time giving it a go. I had no idea that Pacifica was a vegan cosmetic line that could be found at one of my all time favorite stores.
First up in the Pacifica The Power of Love Collection for Target is the eyeshadow palette. This coconut-infused Mineral Eye Shadow palette includes 10 gorgeous eyeshadow shades that are all easy to wear and perfect for spring/summer. All of the shades are creamy to the touch, but the shimmery shades are even more so and adhere a bit better to the skin. ($19.00 @ Target) Found Here
Starting from the top of this vegan eyeshadow palette going from left to right, the colors are: Mysterious, Bare, Falling Star, Spirited, Devoted, Shine On, Treasure, Crush, Soul, and Luna.
Mysterious: shimmery creamy peach
Bare: in between a golden and bronze
Falling Star: creamy matte taupe
Spirited: dark olive green
Devoted: shimmery maroon
Shine On: navy blue
Treasure: shimmery rose gold pink
Crush: creamy pearl
Soul: sky blue
Luna: shimmery pale pink
Get the Look:
1) Apply Bare to your entire lower eyelid and beneath your lower lash line. Then use Crush under the brow bone to blend out any harsh lines.
2) Next press Shine On to the outside corner of the upper eyelid with a flat eyeshadow brush and sweep Spirited to the lower inner lash line with an angled eyeliner brush.
3)Apply a black eyeliner to your upper lash line and blend it into your lashes. Then apply your mascara.
I pared this eye makeup design with everything else being rather subtle. I wanted my skin fresh, my cheeks glowing and my lips to be pale. Overall this makeup look could be dressed up or down for whatever occasion your day brings you. For me, that would be cleaning my house…yay.
Then at the end of my long day, I wiped my makeup off with the Pacifica Coco Pure Makeup Removing Wipes. These wipes are coconut milk infused, smell delicious and gently remove excess oil, dirt, and other daily pollutants. They also have jojoba oil for moisture and aloe vera for healing with a cool touch.
I love face wipe because they are easy to use and tuck away in a gym or makeup bag for on-the-go, but I am especially digging these because of the non-harsh ingredients and the thorough cleansing they give. Also, can we take a moment to look at the packing? I love how fun and festive Pacifica makes everything. ($6.99 @ Target) Found Here
In the end, I am not only a fan of the Pacifica candles, but of the makeup too. Who would have thought you could run to your local Target and pick up some vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics? If you are near a Target, you need to check out the new Pacifica The Power of Love Vegan Eyeshadow Palette and Makeup Wipes. They are too good to pass up.
