Paul & Joe Spring 2014 Color Powder CS Review

I realize that we have only been in the new year for like 5 seconds…but for me, it’s going fast! Spring.Is.Coming. I don’t know about you, but the way I can tell it’s coming is not because of flowers changing or the weather starting to shift (yeah that’s not happening) like a normal person would; I can tell it’s coming when I start seeing ads for up-coming spring makeup collections. Today I am sharing with you my first spring makeup review and it’s the Color Powder CS from the Paul & Joe, Spring 2014 collection! I love, love what they sent me…take a peak!

Oh my gosh…I like you at hello. Paul & Joe sent me their Spring 2014 Color Powder in Azalea and it looks very promising.

Don’t you love it? This packaging is so interesting to look at…you almost want to buy it based on that. But let’s be real, we have all bought something that looked good on the outside but made us cringe when we put it on. Hopefully this won’t happen.

Paul & Joe spring 2014 makeup collectionThis is the cutest color powder (or blush…) ever! What you are looking at here is the Azalea blush…and it’s a beauty. While I LOVE the floral print on the Paul & Joe color powder, it goes away after the first use. So if the blue freaks you out, don’t be afraid my friends…you aren’t stuck with it. But what you are left with is a gorgeous, poppy-pink blush, that would look good on so many skin tones. When you put it on, it’s not flaming pink…it’s just pretty..like a natural flush.

If you can get passed my super dark under-eyes, you will see that my cheeks look naturally pink. This color isn’t overwhelming in the least, but it is very pigmented, so a little goes a very long way. I would suggest starting with a little and adding more if needed. As far as longevity goes, it stayed great, and went on smooth. If you are looking for a new and awesome blush, check this one out!

What do you guys think? Have you tried anything from Paul & Joe? This is my first time…would love your thoughts!
