Sometimes pretty little things just make me happy. This can include beauty items, cosmetics, accessories, home décor, and anything else that I would deem as a pretty-dang-cute item that needs to be in my home somewhere. Now, let me make this real clear…I am not talking about little glass figurines that your grandma keeps in a glass display in the corner of her room with lights shining ever-so-perfectly on them. No, no, no. I’m talking about pretty little things that you might find in a cute boutique on 23rd street in Portland or South Congress in Austin… or somewhere else equally cool.
Do you understand me now?
Good.
Here are my pretty little things.
Nail polish, cute ring dishes, a pretty notebook, succulents, lipstick, vintage anything… and those are just a few of my favorite things. Right here in this picture, you can get a pretty good glimpse of the things I navigate towards when I am shopping for things to wear in the beauty department or things to display in my home. I love neutrals with a massive pop of color and a modern-vintage mix of decor. If you came to my home, that’s what you would see.
Cute Ring Dish
I actually found this glass ring dish at Marshall’s for $4.99. Not a bad price, I must say. I bought it because I needed something to have on my desk to keep my rings in when I am typing away on my computer. Like right now.
Mineral Fusion Sheer Moisture Lip Tint
What I love about the Mineral Fusion Sheer Moisture lip tint in Blush is that it would work for most people. It is really sheer in color, perfect for the gym or a run to the grocery store… or a date night… or whenever.
Succulent Plant Home Décor
Succulents are my favorite plants in the whole world. I actually don’t own any other plants but succulents because they don’t need to be babysat. They are perfect for pretty much anywhere inside of the home and can be paired with a few other decorations… or in a planter outside. I have both.
Inspiration Notebook Journal
It is better to be absolutely ridiculous, than absolutely boring. –Marilyn Monroe
I like to pen my thoughts in a journal from time to time. Now, let’s not get too dreamy about it. When I say time to time… that’s like once a year. I buy journals in hopes that maybe I will have time (between kids, being a wife, blogging, cooking, doing makeup, kids, kids, kids, crying, kids…) to write down any thoughts that I might have at the end of a crazy day. But usually by that time, I am already sleeping.
Well anyways, the inspirational quote was nice.
Crabtree & Evelyn Nudest Nail Polish Collection
Now, this Nudest nail polish collection from Crabtree and Evelyn in right up my alley. Nude nail lacquer keeps my nails looking fresh, clean, and polished for any occasion. Alabaster and Almond are the two gorgeous shades that I have. In my opinion these are perfect for any season: summer, fall, winter, or spring. $6.00 each or 2 for $10.00
Vintage Kodak Camera
I don’t know what came over me this year, but I have a major obsession with vintage cameras. I have Polaroids, Brownies, all types of vintage Kodaks… and others that I couldn’t tell you anything about other than they look super cool in my house. I got them all at a garage sale- best garage sale buy of all time.
What pretty little things do you love?

I love vintage things!! Even when I buy new items I look for that vintage style.
What a great post! I love seeing pictures of cute little treasures 🙂
I have a notebook obsession, and I am freaking out over that one!!
I bought a succulent a week or two ago. I hopefully wont kill it. Love the camera
This notebook looks so cool & cute!
I have some succulent houseplants, too – I agree, it’s every plant for themselves in my house, so they have the best chance of surviving. My house is decorated in what I like to call, “post-college contemporary cardboard” meaning I have a lot of Ikea-type things. Not that you can see it under the layers of dog hair tumbleweeds…
That ring dish is so cute!
I also enjoy journals
My mother loves vintage cameras too but I’m trying to get her to sell what she has.
