After a week of sick kids, I am ready to pretty up with some spring flavored cosmetics by Pur Minerals. Luckily I haven’t gotten whatever my two babes have even after long snuggle sessions for days on end where you know germs were flying. Needless to say, it’s time to get out of my lounge-wear, get out of the house, and spice up my look a bit with some new cosmetics from Pur Minerals.
If you aren’t familiar with this brand, their makeup is entirely cruelty-free and combines the art of makeup with value of healthy skin. So in essence, it’s the perfect combo for us skincare freaks who love makeup. In fact, all of their cosmetics have skin-saving antioxidants plus vitamins and minerals! I think that is pretty awesome.
Here is a snapshot of all the products I am showing off to you today from Pur Minerals. I am a sucker for lipsticks and glosses, and my collection is getting a little out-of-control (that’s another post), regardless though, aren’t these colors gorgeous? More details on those below, let’s talk about the cream blush.
How stunning is the Pur Minerals Cream Blush in Flirt? I find that people/clients tend to freak out when I show them a bubble gum tinted cream or powder blush that I want to apply to their cheeks… and not in a good way. I can usually see the wheels spinning in their head, “what the (fill in the blank) is this lady going to do to me”? From there, I give ample promises that this color will look stunning and ask if they trust me. Then once I apply the terrifying bubble gum blush color, I hand them the mirror and they agree it looks fab and I give myself a little pat on the back.
So in other words, don’t let this cream blush scare you. It added just a slight wash of color to my cheeks and gave my skin a beautiful glow. I am wearing this cream blush in every makeup picture below, so you can see it for yourself!

While I didn’t notice much lip-plumping with the Chateau Kisses Lip Gloss in Glitzy (because my lips probably need something more serious like Juvederm), the berry color is beautiful to wear. In addition, this gloss left my lips hydrated which is perfect for this bi-polar weather here in Austin, TX that keeps hopping between 30 and 60 degrees.

Now for those of you who like a more neutral gloss, this Pur Mineralls Chateau Kisses Lipgloss in Exposed is the perfect fit. Exposed is more of a nude mauve shade that looks way darker in the bottle than when applied to the lips. I think it pairs well with my purple eyelids, but it would also look great on a no-makeup day or with a smoky eye; it’s a pretty versatile shade.
Another bonus about these lip glosses is that they are formulated with Resveratrox, a farm to jar ingredient that comes from Bordeaux’s finest wine producing grapes. What this means is that this lip gloss not only looks good, but it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth and keep your lips hydrated. Double bonus.

This Georgia Peach Chateau de Vine Mineral Lipstick is living up to its name don’t you think? I like that this peachy-pink lipstick is not too overwhelmingly peach or pink; it’s really the perfect mix. Also, this lipstick isn’t just going to be good for Spring, it’s going to be perfect for those Summer days that are headed our way in just a few short months.

Last we have the Chateau de Vine Mineral Lipstick in Smooth Talker, and it’s my favorite. I would describe this as a pale nude-pink lipstick that could go with any makeup look you want to rock. Besides the stunning color of this lipstick, it’s really creamy and applies like butter….not that I have ever gone and smeared butter on my lips. Seriously though, all of the Chateau de Viner Mineral Lipsticks are incredibly hydrating and also contain the Resveratrox to help reduce the signs of aging on the lips.
As far as the stay of these two lipstick, you have to reapply every few hours because they are so creamy. I am fine with that because dang do they feel good on my lips!

Two questions for you to end this post. 1) Which Pur Minerals lip product is your favorite color? 2) Are you scared of bubble gum colored cream blushes?
p.s- These pictures were taken on day 3 of not washing my hair for 7 days.
All the lips are gorgeous!!!
I’m really loving the blush!
I’m wearing Pur Minerals Flirt blush today. It’s lasted the entire day for me. Now I need to look into those lips!!
Smooth Talker for sure! Bright blushes don’t scare me especially cream ones b/c you can sheer them out.
The pur mineral blush in flirt is gorgeous! I’m not afraid to try a brighter color. Especially with Spring on the way.
Smooth talker with the purple eye… gorgeous! I love a cream blush, too.
Every lip swatch is incredible! I need them all!
You look fantastic
The lippies are really gorgeous and yay! for mom immunity! It’s always a bonus when you can nurse the fam through the crud and not catch it, yourself.
They are all pretty but Smooth Talker would be my personal fave. Love a versatile pink!
