For those of you that hate re-applying your makeup throughout the day, the PUR MINERALS Chateau Cheek Stains in Peach Bellini, Prosecco, and Rose will soon be your new cosmetic bag side-kick. After having tested this long wear blush out in the humid, 100 degree Texas weather and having it stay put, I was sold. In fact, not only did I wear this outdoors, but I wore it while painting something for Wyatt’s room. I was out there for about an hour getting hot and sweaty, yet still my cheeks looked flawless.
Pure Minerals Chateau Cheek Stain Highlights: This is a gel-like cheek stain that has skincare friendly ingredients like anti-oxidants to help fight against free radicals. It gives a very natural tint to the cheeks, but can also be layered for more color.
My Thoughts: Like I said before, this cheek stain stayed put when I put it to the test. That’s important to me, because, as a mom of now 3, I don’t have much time to touch-up my makeup throughout the day. I mean, I can barely make it to the restroom…let’s be honest here.
Back to my thoughts.
One thing that stood out to me with the Chateau Cheek Stain was how cooling it felt when I applied it to my cheeks. It almost had an Aloe Vera like cooling effect that was pretty refreshing. I also liked how easy the stain is to apply and blend into the skin. I just applied it directly to the apples of my cheeks and blended it out with the brush that is attached to the other end.

A Closer Look
Swatches: From left to right we have Prosecco, Peach Bellini, and Rose. I just did one swipe of the Pur Minerals Chateau Stain, so you can see that the pigmentation is sheer but still gives off good color. Out of the three that I have tested, I would say that the Peach Bellini is the sheerest and that Rose gives the most pigment. If you are someone who wants more pigmentation than what you see here, you can layer this easily, and the pigmentation just builds.
Prosecco
Pur Minerals Chateau Cheek Stain in Prosecco: I love the cool-berry tint that Prosecco gives, especially since we are rolling into the Fall/Winter months. To me, it would make a great addition as a Fall makeup piece if you are looking to update your cosmetic bag. Found Here
Peach Bellini
Pur Minerals Chateau Cheek Stain in Peach Bellini: This cheek stain is pretty much the color that it says: Peach Bellini. It’s a great color for Summer and even Fall, but I would stash it away for Winter. Found Here
Rose
Pur Minerals Chateau Cheek Stain in Rose: This is definitely the most seasonally diverse cheek stain of the three. While some people run from pink blush, I run to it like a moth to a flame and think more people should follow in my footsteps. . What’s so great about this color is that it makes any skin-tone glow and look healthy. It’s just a gorgeous color…and I think everyone should own it. End of story. Found Here
Overall Thoughts and Opinions
Since one of the hottest makeup trends right now is to have a more minimalistic makeup look (a little less contouring please), the Pur Minerals Chateau Cheek Stains will help you achieve that. Or, if you still want that drama, these can be layered to give you a stronger look. Regardless though if you are on the hunt for a cheek stain that lasts like it says it will, you should add these to your makeup collection.
Have a great day!

Prosecco and Peach Bellini are beautiful! It’s getting too hot here in CA, cheek stains are a huge must when the weather gets up in the 80s and 90s.
Prosecco and peach bellini are my picks. They are so nice! I haven’t tried a gel blush, but I do love cream ones.

This is one of my favorite cream blushes, hands down. I just with they’d have made the cap end a little bigger. Every time I recap the brush I crush it =(
