Purse Worthy Beauty Basics

If you are a busy mom, or a busy working woman, you are most likely pressed for time.  Because our “extra” time is limited (if you even get extra time in a day…), keeping some beauty basics in your purse becomes an essential, not just an option.

So here’s my story and a good little mental picture for you before we talk about my purse worthy beauty basics. A few days ago I was hauling myself, my two girls, and my 80-pound, untrained (major fail) Goldendoodle to the vet.  My dog was having a slight panic attack and giving me a minor case of whiplash. While that was going on, my 4-year-old was begging me for mints and my 1.5-year-old was making a small ocean on the floor with her new discovery- the water dispenser. So all in this single moment, I am on the floor at the vet pointlessly cleaning up water because more water is still being poured out by my daughter’s wonderful water dispenser, I am hearing something about mints in the background, and my dog is pulling my arm off, all while the secretary is rolling her eyes at me. Let me tell you that by the end of this vet trip, I needed a glass of wine, some therapy, and almost every beauty basic in my purse to help me look normal again.

 With that story said, here are 6 Purse Worthy Beauty Basics for the busy women.  Or the crazy mom…or both.

Teeth Whitening: Yeah, you are probably wondering why I have a teeth whitener as a purse essential. Lip Color Choices: For a quick change in my makeup, I like having a range of lipsticks and glosses in my purse. Why? Because first, one can NEVER have too many lipsticks.  It’s nearly impossible.
