Last week I got a rather killer deal from Bloom.com which included the Gold Box for free. This little bonus is another incentive to purchase through bloom.com and contains little samples, deluxe size samples, and full size items dependent on how much you spend. Who doesn’t want something extra with their purchase? I spent $50.00 which put me at the gold box level. Here is what I got below:

LaROCCA Lip Shield SPF 8: This is the full size item in my little bag of goodies. It’s priced regularly at $18.00. So I was pretty please with that. This lip shield is made with Hyaluronic acid and Camu Camu, which helps to really moisturize the lips and keep them hydrated.

Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip Plumper sample: This does a pretty good job at making your lips feel tingly, but I am not sure about the plumping part. I am always a bit skeptical when it comes to lip plumping products. But- it does feel very, very nice on the lips and the color selection is good. I purchase this product and go through it quickly! I love it. $24.00

Jane Iredale PurMoist LipColour SPF 18 sample in Sharon: I have used Jane’s lipsticks for a while now, Sharon is a pretty color although not a favorite. These lipsticks are loaded with antioxidents to keep free radicals off the skin and castor seed oil to help moisture lock in. This is $19.00 which is not a bad price for a lipstick.

100% Biodegradable Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloth sample: If you are searching for others ways to be environmentally friendly, here is another option for you. These cloths are wonderful and feel extremely refreshing, plus you can feel good that they are earth friendly. As far as the quality of product and ingredient, there is a whole list of great things including Canadian organic honey and of course bamboo. This really is a great product, but it is very expensive in my opinion, $17.99 for 30 cloths.

OLE HENRIKSEN truth is in the eyes sample: This product is an anti aging eye treatment for all skin types. It has Micro Algae which helps to boost collagen, lactic/glycolic acid which helps to gently exfoliate and vitamin C to brighten and tighten. I have not tried this yet, and it’s only a sample so its hard to tell how it works over time. I also have never tried anything from this brand. Let me know if you have. The price of this product is $65.00, that a pretty normal price for an eye treatment serum.

Gilden Tree Nourishing Foot Cream Kiran Forest sample: Wow this feels wonderful! It feels great on my tired feet that are sick of standing by the end of the day. This is also extremely moisturizing with shea butter and jojoba oil with certified organic aloe vera to help take down inflammation. This is $18.00, go ahead and spoil your feet.

  • The worst website ever! I ordered 100 dollars worth of beauty products and paid for upgraded 2 day shipping, but three days later my order is still sitting there. I emailed them several times with no response about why my order had not shipped. The only email i got was that i had placed an order.

Called their 1 800 number several times before i finally got an answer. They said they could not understand why my order had not shipped, and that all the items were in stock. She said they would ship the next day. Well the next day, no email about shipping, logged into bloom.com and checked my status. Still said same thing which was “ordered”. Called their number again and asked if my items had shipped, she said no and didnt understand why (they didn’t have any answers). So i told them to cancel my order. She said it would take 5 to 10 business days to get my money money back. As of this evening my order status has not changed and i still have no email from them stating that my order has been canceled.

Im afraid i will never get my money back because they seem to be a very shady company. Also i think when i ordered that i do not recall seeing the https which means the site is secure to put your credit card info in. Don’t trust this company!

    • It sounds like you are having a major hassle! Best way to take care of a problem is to publicly tweet and go on their facebook page if you are not getting anywhere. I actually had an item I ordered and payed for end up be out of stock. They emailed me and said they would get it to me when it came in they never got it back in stock. So they ended up asking if they could send me something similar that cost about $10.00 more. So I was happy about that but it did take about two months to get the product.

I am so sorry it has been such a bad experience. Let me know how it goes.
