Review: Jane Iredale Glamour Eye & Lip Palette

If you are still on the hunt for a holiday gift, check out the Glamour Eye & Lip Palette from Jane Iredale. I have used Jane Iredale for years, have their products in my makeup kit etc, etc…so I am excited to get to play around with this set and show you the 4 different eye designs I came up with from this palette.

About the Jane Iredale Glamour Eye & Lip Palette (from the brand): “Good things come in small packages” is really true of the Glamour Eye & Lip Palette. Elegantly packaged in a rose gold mirrored compact, it gives you the chance to try eye and lip shades of all colors. You will never be without that color you only use once in a while but you must have right now!

Swatches

I was actually pretty impressed with the pigment this gave me. A little really did go a long way, I barely used any eyeshadow for these swatches.You can’t really tell what #4 looks like on this swatch, but on my eye, it applied nicely and really showed up.  Check out my looks below.

Eye Design Looks

Before we go into the colors, based off of what information is given on-line, I can’t tell which lippie is which. I apologize that I can’t tell you exactly what name goes with what color.

The Experience

Honestly, when I opened up this palette, I was a little shocked at how small the samples of each color were. They are really small. But I noticed right away that I didn’t need to use much to get the eye look that I wanted, so I felt like maybe that was why the sizes were small? I don’t know. I do know that they packed a lot of eyeshadows and lip colors into a small space and it’s awesome. I have been taking it with me in my purse for touch ups, the lipstick brush is great!

Overall Thoughts & Opinions

This set is $75.00. Ouch. But you have to remember this is Jane Iredale; they are a high quality cosmetic company that doesn’t use any fillers in their makeup. But still…if i were to name the price on this, I would set at about $55.00 instead of $75.00. I think it’s over-priced for sure, but I definitely love the color selection this palette gives with both the eyeshadows and the lipsticks. You can get so many combinations.

This is a tough one for me, if I was going just off of the product…I would give it a 5, but the price tag makes is a 4.
