A few day’s ago I was shopping at my favorite Marshalls and found a killer deal on the Korres Eyeshadow Quads in Natural Collection and Cool Collection. These shadows are last years shadow quads, and I am glad I got the deal on them and didn’t pay full price!
But just because I got a deal on them doesn’t make them a sweet product, it also doesn’t mean that it’s a bad product either. So here is my review to tell you exactly what I think.
The Natural Collection
What It Is: Long wearing, crease-resistant shadows rich in hydrating evening primrose and antioxidant sunflower oils. These shades areRose Pink 65, Brun 36, Light Pink 62 and Golden 25.
My Thoughts: I think everyone needs these shadow colors in their makeup bag at all times. So for me, purchasing this quad was a no-brainer as every single color I can and will wear. It did a great job not creasing and the colors showed up pretty well. Obviously the Brun 36 showed up the most of swatches, but the Golden 25 was gorgeous!

Cool Collection
What It Is: Long wearing, crease-resistant shadows rich in hydrating evening primrose and antioxidant sunflower oils. These colors are #75 Purple, #77 Plum, #10 White, #51 Silver.
My Thoughts: Just like the Natural Collection, I really appreciated that it was crease resistant, it’s perfect for summer time. I bought these colors because I don’t really have anything like this at home for myself that I use. I have been wearing the #75 Purple almost every day since and have gotten tons of compliments. I think it was a good buy for me.

THE PRICE TAG!
Like I said, I got these at Marshall’s in perfect condition. If you don’t know what Marshall’s is, it’s like a T.J Maxx or Ross. If you don’t know what either of those are, then you need to find one.
Basically on-line I am finding these as as high at $38.95 and as low as $18.00. I found these at the price below and feel rather proud of myself. I am a proud bargain shopper at times.
Rocking The Look
On a daily basis, I personally like to keep my makeup on the simple side. On my full eyelids I have the Purple #75, in the crease is the Pink #65, and the outer edge and below the lower lash line is the Brun #36. To highlight under my brow bone and tear duct, I am using the white #10.
BEYOND THE BLOG
Currently I am just shy of 26 weeks prego. Yesterday I was climbing onto a swing and was pulling my 2 year old on it with me. It was a rather interesting situation. But what made even more so was when the 5 year old boy next to me said to his babysitter, “She can’t get on there! She’s the big lady with the small legs”. Mmmmmm….that made my day.
I thought I would leave your Monday with that nice thought…and hopefully a laugh!

Oh man, I’m so jealous – I love Korres, and didn’t spy these in my local TJ Maxx when I went looking and haven’t made it to my local Marshall’s to check (but they usually have shite selection :/). I did find some Canada-exclusive Nicole by OPI polishes and was sorely tempted by them, haha.
I own a few Korres eyeshadows already and love ’em to pieces. I think 75 Purple is a color I didn’t think I needed until I saw it lol.
I suppose I’ll have to make do with eBay to get the shades I don’t have.
I know, it is super hit or miss. But if you frequent there (like me) you are bound to find other killer deals on makeup!
