Review-Makeup Forever Smoky Lash Mascara

You know when you find a really, really good mascara and it reminds you of why you are a mascara snob? I had that experience today with Makeup Forevers, Smoky Lash Mascara. I already love this brand because I believe they make such high quality products, but now I love them even more because of this amazing mascara!

I was a little hesitant when I pulled the wand out and looked at how the mascara brush looked. The bristles were are a bit separated, but there was still tons of them. I discovered that this helps to grasp the lashes, adding ample volume, length and curl to each individual hair! How sweet is that? I seriously looked like I had falsies on, and in addition to that, my husband complimented me on them! Nice.

I had ZERO flaking and smudging all day, plus I found it extremely easy to layer. I don’t know about you, but I always find this to be a problem with mascaras. Some formulas tend to get crunchy after just the first layer, resulting in no way to add more.  If you have checked out my before mascara photo, you know I need additional layers…so that just won’t work for me. My lashes are barely living. Need to start using my latisse again.

The only down side that I can find to this mascara is that it is only sold exclusively to Sephora. So if you are not near a sephora, you will need to purchase off line and meet the spending limit to get free shipping. I am sure that won’t be hard to do though! This mascara is $22.00 and worth every cent.

-Ultra-fine Mineral Pigment of Micronized Iron Oxyde: Optimizes the color and gives an immediate black look.
-Shellac Gum: Ensures optimal hold and a lengthening and volume-enhancing effect.
-Fibers: Gives an optimal volume effect.
-Bio-extender Rich in Trace Elements and D-Panthenol: Protects the lashes and improves their extensibility.
