The Review: REVLON Colorburst Lacquer Balm

It’s no secret that I have a major obsession with lipstick–particularly ones that give my lips a pigment punch. I also have every lipstick formulation possible, including the ridiculously popular chubby lipstick crayons that have hit cosmetic isles everywhere. So, I picked up a few of the Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms for review to see if they were on par with the rest of my rather large chubby lipstick collection.

In the Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm collection, there are ten gorgeous lipstick options, and honestly, I really wanted them all. But, for the sake of learning self-restraint, I only walked away with two that fit their names perfectly: Enticing and Coy.

When I applied these Revlon chubby crayons, they were rich with pigment and extremely moisturizing due to the shea, mango, and coconut butter formulation. They also had a hint of peppermint, which was a really soothing touch.

Revlon Colorburst Lacquer in Coy- Although my every day lipstick color is usually pretty bright, coy is a beautiful mauve that will work for lots of skin-tones. It’s also a very transitional lipstick color, so it would work great all year long, in every season.

Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Enticing:

Of my two Revlon Colorbust Lacquer Balm picks, Enticing was my favorite. I know it comes as a major shock that this cranberry colored lipstick made the top of the list. What can I say? I-love-bright-lips and I cannot lie…no other brother can deny…etc. etc.

I will stop now.

In conclusion, I really liked the pigmentation and moisture of the REVLON Colorburst Lacquer Balm. While this chubby lip crayon won’t stay on your lips for any long length of time, it’s a great lipstick to toss in your purse for a quick touch of color.

Have you tried this chubby lipstick pencil by Revlon?
