The Look: Smokey Green Eyeshadow and Berry Lips

If you are in the mood to mix up your makeup look for fall and go a little bolder, wearing sultry green eyeshadow and berry lips should do the trick. If the thought of that makeup combo terrifies you, don’t be scared. I wouldn’t lead you astray in the makeup department.

Which leads me to my next point- this vampy makeup look would pair perfectly with some hot heels, glammed-up nails, and chic hair, aka special occasion status. In other words, I wouldn’t wear this bold makeup look to a play-date where most moms would be rocking their mommy top-knot and post work out clothes (I mean, if you want to, go for it…but moms everywhere will hate you).

The look- smoky green eyes +berry lips

For this eye makeup look, I am using all Mary Kay product:

  • Lime Eyeshadow
  • Emerald Eyeshadow
  • Metallic Toupe Cream Eye Color
  • Black Eyeliner
  • Lash Love Mascara

For The Eyes– To get this sultry green eyeshadow design, you want to base your eyes with the Mary Kay® Cream Eye Color in Metallic Toupe, then press the lime eyeshadow onto your entire lower eyelid and sweep it under you lower lash line, as well.  Next, sweep the Emerald Eyeshadow by Mary Kay® into the contour of the eye, blending the eyeshadow with a blending brush. Last, use the Mary Kay Black Eyeliner and Lash Love mascara.

Berry a la mode lipstick

For the rest of this makeup look, I used:

  • Bronzing Powder (light-med)
  • Berry a la mode lipstick
  • chocolate liner

For the Face and Lip– After you are done applying your foundation, you want to sweep the Mary Kay bronzing powder in a sideways three for contouring. Then I used the Chocolate lip liner, smudging it into my lips, and topped that with the Berry a la mode lipstick. For a pop of cheek color, I dabbed a bit of the Berry a la mode lipstick onto the apples of my cheeks.

For a more subtle version of this Green Eyeshadow and Berry Lips makeup look, try blotting down the Berry a la mode lipstick to a lip stain and skip the eyeliner all together.  You could also smudge the emerald green eye-shadow over the liner for a more smudged out and less dramatic look.  However and wherever you decide to wear this makeup look, rock it with confidence, even if it is to a play-date

Have fun trying a new makeup look.
