My Ten Year Marriage and Supporting Cast

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Grant Thornton for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

This past weekend I got to celebrate my ten year anniversary with my husband. Let me tell you, time flies when you are having fun. It’s crazy to think where this love of ours has taken us and the twists and turns that have made us who and what we are today. It truly is one of the hardest and most fulfilling adventures of my life but I can honestly say, we have created an epic story and have the best supporting casts around; our kids.

My Ten Year Marriage

With that said, My biggest supporting cast is the man I married. I couldn’t have the marriage and kids I do without first choosing the one who chooses me daily. He loves me unconditionally in the good times and bad. And trust me, as someone who struggles with anxiety and depression…there are some bad days. He has supported me and grieved deeply with me when my body failed to keep pregnancies. He has been overjoyed with me as I gave birth to our three crazy kids.  And–by the way, isn’t it the sexiest thing in the world when you watch your husband become not only a dad…but a ridiculously amazing one? I love him for that.

My husband, Ezra, is my main supporter and I wouldn’t have these other supporting casts without him. Also…can we all just appreciate how ridiculously sexy this dude is? Yeah, he’s my supporting cast..back off.

Zariah, Naomi and Wyatt are my other supporting casts. They all three couldn’t be more different and hilarious. Zariah is my caretaker, always looking to see how she can help. She is my creative one who can make anything look beautiful and artistic.  Naomi is my fierce, free-spirit girl who just says it like it is. Sweet and super sassy. If you have ever watched my Facebook Lives or Instastories…you have certainly gotten a dose of her crazy. Wyatt is your typical baby brother who chases the older sister with anything that could be used as a weapon: sticks, balls, toys. If it can be hurled into the air to create disaster, it will be in his hands.

It’s a good thing he is my last. Just sayin.

Now it’s your turn. Who is your supporting cast?  Introducing the #SupportingCast Challenge. Join me and the Grant Thornton #Supportingcast Twitter Party on June 11th 7-9p EDT and honor those in your life who are your biggest supporters.

How it works:

  • RSVP Here then Nominate Your #SupportingCast by tagging them with #SupportingCast in a tweet or Instagram.
  • Even better, at the close of the Tony Awards, Grant Thornton will make a donation to The American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League Foundation for every #SupportingCast post shared throughout the Tony Awards season.
