Urban Decay Cherry Eyeshadow Palette and Makeup Review, Swatches, makeup look

Last week I recieved the entire Urban Decay Naked Cherry Makeup collection including the eyeshadow palette, lipsticks, blush & highlighter palette, and eyeliners and I can’t wait to share it with you guys! I am doing a full review of the new Naked makeup set with swatches, up-close looks, and a makeup look. If you are a UD fan, you are going to want to pay close attention because they makeup colors are gorgeous and the perfect addition to the Urban Decay Naked collection. RIP to the origional Naked palette, we have a new boss in town.

In this new Urban Decay Cherry Makeup Collection we have some of the newest and prettiest shades in lipstick, eyeliners, eyeshadows, blush/highlters and more. I can’t wait to show you everything.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Lipsticks

You are going to love the new Urban Decay Naked Lipsticks. There are three new colors added to the roster of UD lipsticks and their names are Cherry (shocker), Juicy, and Devilish. Here are more details on what to expect from these new lippies.

The Details: These new Naked Cherry Lipsticks are really hydrating, pigmented and creamy. They aren’t going to stay on your lipst for hours and hours and hours, but they won’t dry them out either. Mine lasted without a re-touch for 3 hours which isn’t too shabby in my opinion.

Lipstick Pics:

Juicy is a peachy nude shade wearable for all the people.

Devilish is a little too sparkly for my liking, but it has an electric berry tone to it. If that’s your thing, you do you boo-boo.

Cherry is what you would expect from a dark cherry pigment. It’s absolutely stunning.

Urban Decay Highlight & Blush Palette

Here is a major win with the new Urban Decay Cherry Highlight & Blush set, it’s not a flaming sparkle fest. But, where is the cherry shade? While this blush color is a beautiful peachy-rose shade, I would think it would bend more towards the cherry color-zone. You know what I mean? The highlighers are on point and you hardly have to use any of it to get a beautiful glowing look. You can scroll down to the bottom of this post to see in on my skin.

Urban Decay New Naked Cherry Eyeliners

So I tried the Black Market eyeliner on my top lashline and the Drunk Love Eyeliner on my lower lashline. You can see that when you scroll down to the bottom of this post to look. I have to say, I like the formula for the 24/7 Urban Decay eyeliner, but I really need it to not involve a pencil sharpener because I have no time for that. Colors are super pretty though and once this formula sets, it’s there!

New Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette

First Impression: Obviously I loved the packaging and colors and all of it. There are 12 shades in this Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette; 5 shimmery shades and 7 matte shades and they are all really gorgeous. Also, there are a ton of daytime looks that you can create with this palette that can be transitioned into evening. With that said, where is the true Cherry eyeshadow color? I’m sad.

Review: Upon applicattion, I felt like using an eyeshadow primer is essential when using this palette as the colors come out far more pigmented with it than without. Also, a few of the matte shades were powdery like Hot Spot and Devilish but they all seemed to blend well together regardless. The price is the same as all of the other Naked Palettes at $49 which makes each eyeshadow shade $4.08! Not bad. This would make a great Christmas or Birthday gift, so don’t forget about it!

Final Thoughts: I like it but I’m not 1,000% in love with it. I guess I was hoping for a really bright cherry red or something. I do think though that it is wearable for more people because it’s more neautral…which I guess is the point of the NAKED palettes. I’m glad I have it and I will definitely wear it.

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Makeup Look

My face is a conglomeration of everything about. On my eyes I am wearing Turn On, on my entire lower eyelid and Young Love and Drunk Deal in the contour of my eyes. I sweeped Privacy and Young Love under my lower lashline then applieBlack Market eyeliner along my upper lashline and Love Drug under my lower lashline.

For my face, I added the Cherry blush/highlighter palette in the best areas. Blush on my cheeks and the peachy highlighter above my cheekbones. Last, I am wearing the Urban Decay lipstick color, Cherry!
