Over the past few months I have been experimenting with literally hundreds of false lashes due to the nature of the book I have spent the past 5 months creating (due on bookshelves Nov. 14ish…yay!). So, I have tried A TON, and recently was sent three sets of lashes from Esqido to try out and review and I seriously wish I had known about these lashes in August! Bummer…these are so beautiful, you are going to die over these celebrity favourites.
Before I start gabbing about these Mink luxury lashes made by Esqido, I want to address the fact that these are made of mink hair. But, don’t fly off of your handle yet, I am a major animal lover and do not advocate animal cruelty. These lashes are made from the natural shedding/molting cycle of the mink animal. According to the company, no animals are harmed in the making of these lashes. They are also dye free and sterilized to make sure they are hypoallergenic.
This week I will be showing you three different lashes from Esqido tied with a Valentines Day Eye Makeup Design! I am starting out with the most natural lash set that I chose called Unforgettable! Let me know what you think!
My Experience:
What I immediately noticed about the Esqido lashes is that they are really well crafted. Every hair was purposefully placed and they looked so natural on my eyes. My only hang up with these lashes is the width of the band; it’s a little on the thick side of town. But if you make sure to really press the lashes into your lash-line, everything looks completely natural…and feels as if you have nothing on.
Personally, I am way to lazy to put on false lashes every day. But for a special occasion, umm yes, these are a must. If you are a bride, these are non-optional, you need them. Just sayin.
Bonus: If you care for these lashes well, you can get up to 25 uses out of them! That is amazing! With cheaper brands, I can usually only get about 3 uses out of them before they start looking massively funktified.
Price: I am not going to lie, the price on these lovely ladies are pretty steep…$36.00. If you are use to buying $5.00 lash strips, the price on these might make you go into cardiac arrest. But, if you break it down, that’s $1.44 per use and your lashes will look amazing and celebrity-status-worthy. To me as a makeup artist, I always want my clients to have the best of the best. So, I am glad these found me.
Valentines Day Eye Design Look Using Unforgettable Lashes
Step 1- After you have applied an eyeshadow primer, apply a gold eyeshadow on your entire lower eyelid.
Step 2- With a reddish/pink blush or eyeshadow and a blending brush, sweep thoughtfully into the contour of your eye using a small circular motion.
Step 3- Soften any harsh lines from Step 2 with a cream colored eyeshadow under your brown bone and near tear duct.
Step 4- Next, define your upper lash line with a black eyeliner pencil and blend it into your lash line with an angled liner brush.
Step 5- With the same liner pencil, define your lower lash line, focusing on the outer corners and connecting them.
Step 6- Apply your Esqido lashes by placing a very, very, very small amount of lash glue (duo lash glue) the lash strip and letting it dry for about 7-10 sec. Then carefully place it as close to you natural lash-line as possible.
Step 7- Apply Mascara and your eyes will be look oh-so-fab.

Shame they’re so expensive 🙁
I know…splurge status!
These are lovely! I love false lashes but I agree…they are too much for every day. Way too lazy!
lol…you can only do so much in a day.
They were definitely an option I decided against on my wedding day recently. I totally suck at applying falsies, and every time I have worn they, they lift after a few hours! Not on my wedding day! And I still felt like a princess, regardless. BUT. These lashes look amazing on you and completely natural. I wish I had your skill at applying them!!!
Trust me, when I first started doing lashes on myself it was awful! But I have done it so many times (literally hundreds), that it’s second nature now. But yeah, even on my wedding day I had a friend apply them.
Wow, super expensive.
I know…eek!
These look amazing!
Thanks Lisa!
GORGEOUS Look Kendra! Awesome pictorial with the ESQIDO lashes!

Great tutorial! Love the colors and those lashes are TDF!
Thanks Laura! I think so too!!
I love your eye look! That’s awesome you can get so many uses out of these lashes!
I know, total bonus.
I can’t put on lashes at all. I would end up gluing my eye together. My blog partner can though and she’s excited about reviewing these.
I read that J. Lo loves mink lashes, and I always thought that they look amazing on her. This is definitely a luxury product, but it would be great for special occasions, like a wedding.
I love your lashes ! The tutorial itself was amazing
Thank you Betzy!
Wow, they look amazing! Do you take the mascara off the mink lashes if you plan to reuse them? Or just leave it on?
Yeah…I would.
wow those lashes look awesome
Thank you!
I can’t wait for your book! Congrats in advance!
Thanks Kath!! That’s really sweet of you. xo
